It’s crazy that AFO didn’t prioritize taking Momo’s quirk. Even if he wouldn’t use it himself it would be a tremendously important support quirk he could give to someone else and for copying. Hori making AFO be able to give out quirks might have been a mistake because it would end up opening massive plot holes when AFO fails to use that ability to its maximum.
the same thing i'd probably do for most of the side characters in general: actually give them things to do that isn't a random filler or the occasional "we're doing something" side moments. by focusing so much on Deku and those immediately tied to him, no one else can really breathe, much less Momo

The doctors say there’s nothing abnormal and that there’s no reason to bar her from returning to class. But, after discussions with the police they say it’s too dangerous to let her return to the Academy until they figure out what AFO did and instead put her under house arrest in the meantime. Momo’s joy is smashed to pieces as now she can’t even leave her house. In her heart she expected 1-A and the teachers to rescue her — but they never come. Until the League of Villains show up and break her out…
