It still doesn't make Maria's constant screeching autistic meltdowns any more acceptable, nor is it interesting to read about her gaslighting Ange into turning herself into a fellow autistic outcast). Also, while it may be controversial to say it, the humans escaping/fighting Beatrice's furniture in EP4 can be almost entirely cut without any major impact on the plot, as it's all complete fiction that doesn't add anything relevant other than showing the secret tunnels.
