I think I figured out why most anons didn't like SHY. I feel it has a lot to do with the direction. Masaomi Ando's style doesn't work with a superhero action series like this one. He's better suited to the more storybook-style stuff like Hakumei and Mikochi or Hanako-kun. A better director could take the rough first part of the manga and make it watchable. I hope they find a more capable director if it gets another season.
