Its peak girl-kino, and the romance relationship is really endearing and cute. However, at a certain point, it definitely begins to spin its wheels and seems to just lose steam. While the first 2/3rds of it moves pretty quickly and is a quick, fun read, the later chapters begin to get really bogged down in meaningless fluff. Instead of progressing their romance, it decides to switch gears into forced drama shit by introducing new characters and force conflicts. It even spends several chapters on a "oopsie, misunderstanding surprise NTR!" arc and its just fucking awful. Kai goes from being this pretty chad guy to just being an unlikable spineless dipshit who just stands by and lets Uka wallow in misery because he cant just be open about his feelings or what happened (Uka grows as a character, Kai really does not). I really kinda soured on it (ironically) by the end of it. Kinda a shame, really.

I really do actually like Uka a lot. She's a really great lead character. she really feels relatable and it feels like she grows a lot over the course of the series, and watching her go from the bullied kid to having her whole school practically worship her is very engaging and cute. It just feels like at some point the author just gave up on that kind of storybuilding and just went for lame drama instead.
I know I'm late but wow this is like every shitty shoujo trope packed into one series. I'm starting to think maybe I shouldn't have said this was better than Farmagia.
