I can't handle how superior it is to other styles.
Watching non non biyori and the jokes, the feelings and voice acting just don't compare to K-on, it's on another level. Sorry for being a calcified old man but my heart no longer deceives me. I am familiar with anime quality.

IIRC the part where Mugi haggles the guy down for Yui's guitar happened when they were first in the music store while in the anime they had that entire finding a part time job thing in between. Some of the jokes in Hidamari Sketch were also drawn out too much. But I don't recall the jokes missing in K-ON, just some of them (maybe it was more common than I was remembering) were extended or sort of split up (which the latter could cause issues). I read the K-ON manga after watching the anime though. If it had been opposite maybe I'd feel more strongly about this.
