I like anthology type stories but Paranoia Agent has never worked for me.I think in part just because most episodes are forgettable, which is oh well, but the big thing for me is Kon indulges in some of his worst 'DEAR VIEWER THIS IS THE POINT I AM PUTTING THE POINT IN DIALOGUE IN THE FINAL EPISODE I AM NOW READING YOU THE POINT PLEASE PAY ATTENTION THIS IS THE POINT DEAR VIEWER' habit where he treats the audience like fucking morons.I hated the last episode so much as a kid that I ended up reading Kon's blog with mtl and extremely broken high schooler level Japanese just trying to figure out what the fuck he was thinking.
