The Fyodor fight is such a drag, he's as big of a Gary Stu as Dazai except evil. It just gets boring when literally everything turns out to be his plan, specially things he had no way of planning for like the justice girl freeing Bram to control the vampires so they would kill him.

On principle I prefer his kind of motivation over certain alternative characters who whine about having no powers he's actually burdened by them and only sees self justification if he's using them for a greater cause.

It all culminates on some absolute bullshit by Fyodor plot armoring his way out of something he simply couldn't have planned for and now like 80% of the cast is either dead or vampires.
