Why do these romcom authors always shove in a forced NTR-bait plotline?
It's neither romantic nor comedic.
>>
If you don't get it, it's because you're not the target audience; you are not Japanese.

>This thread again
How mentally ill are you?
>>
Drives up engagement through controversy
an example being imasara's irrelevance until the ntr forced pitybait arc
>>
Male competition makes romcoms entertaining. Unfortunately it is very rare.

Name one romance anime without ntr bait
>>
>>275223357
is it even really a romcom though
feels more like a slice of life about a whimsical wolf girl with a side kick who happens to have a crush on her
>>
>>275223357
cuck
>>
>>275223962
You are just a weak, ugly and boring person if you feel threatened by a fictional girl going out with someone other than the main character.
>>
>>275223179
They are cucks, except that one. That one is written by a woman, and that happens is all shoujo manga
>>
>>275224040
Yeah, bro. I'm definitely reading RomComs to see the FMC date other people while the MC is sitting on the cuck share.
>>
>>275224424
They aren't dating, not MC with dog girl nor dog girl with vampire.
Vampire guy pretty much just tries to get blood from any girls he can, it's not inherently romantic or sexual for him, though it looks sus, for a human point of view, specially because he doesn't try to get blood from men.
Not sure if it's a difference on flavor, or just knowing if he asked a guy for blood, they would punch his face.
In any case, eventually MC stops finding the whole thing cuck-ish because he realizes there was truly nothing intimate on the act for the vampire or the dog girl.
And the vampire stops taking the whole thing as lightly, because he ends up accepting that most girls would interpret him wanting their blood as a way of flirting.

>vampires arent inherently romantic or sexual
lol

You didnt get what I mean or I didn't get explain myself well.
MC and the girls the vampire boy took blood from considered the blood-sucking as intimate.
...but for the vampire himself and other creatures.... He is just eating a snack, nothing serious.
Literally the whole point of that subplot is the conflict it caused on MC because it made him realize how different human and creature values were.
I mean just imagine this
>If a dog person needed to get in someone's personal space to register their scent so they can recognize them more easily
>It would be normal for them, but a human would possibly call it sexual harassment to have this random person literally sniffing them
>>
ntrbait is dumb
the supporting male character having his own love interest is great
>>
>>275223179
>basic love triangle arc every romance story goes through
>le ntr
cancer
>>
>>275223357
it's the opposite
>>

basic in josei magazines you mean. The artist in OP didn't get the memo.
