In the manga Kana has cute eyes and facial expressions. But then the anime made her eyes too big, so sometimes she looks bug eyed instead. Akane has a similar problem, where the sharp eyes she had in the manga are replaced with the bigger cutesy eyes that the other girls have, but at least she doesn't suffer from the uncanny valley effect that hits anime!Kana.
