When I got to Part 3, I thought Jotaro was boring and that Stands were cool but felt kinda betrayed by the almost complete removal of Hamon. I still liked the series but I was one of those "Hamon better than Stands, JoJo peaked with Part 2" fags for a while.Anyways, I read Part 4 after I finished Part 3's anime. I liked Josuke more than Jotaro, and the Stands were more interesting. That started breaking my opinion on Hamon/Part 2 supremacy, and then by the time 2016 rolled around I had firmly started to prefer Part 4 and Stands.Nowadays I've revisited Part 3 a few times and found new appreciation for Jotaro (he's now my 2nd favorite protagonist behind Johnny), and even if the fights are kind of poor and suffer from "Star Platinum wins because it's Star Platinum", the best moments in Part 3 are the peak of the original continuity, and are only bested by Part 7.
