I'm conflicted in the way he writes big stakes fights, maybe because this is the nature of nakama power, the anime did a bad job adapting his fight panels, there are 5 fights happening at the same time so he needs to split the screentime, or some combination between these reasons.>Finding that balance between the two is something I give Mashima credit forThis is something I noticed a while back and it became one of the reasons why I like the series. The manga doesn't give the main group a lot of downtime to interact normally outside the plot, any dynamic interaction between main group had needed to be done in the middle of the arc where usually something is happening.
