Each girl will tutor one kid, Hama gets Touji and Yume gets Ryouji. Wondering about the bag over his head, Yume inquires into it, which elicits a small reply: "...It's embarrassing." The father explains he has a fear of strangers and should take it off once he gets to know her, but Yume doesn't mind.Hama seems to be doing fine with Touji, but one question away from finishing a textbook, he throws a tantrum, wanting to go play. This makes Hama reflect on how she knew this was going to happen the moment Hanawa told them this was some last-minute cramming. This, in turn, leads her to discovering a statue head built into the ceiling.Continued in another post.

So they go back to studying while Hama recaptures Touji in the background, only to be interrupted by a loud "gehp" (the sound of belching?), which she writes off as a random house noise.Back to his room, Hama finds a picture frame of a blonde woman with two boys next to her, who she identifies as their mom.
