I typically ask this as well, but for those people claiming to read 100+ ongoing manga. Reading a dozen or couple of dozen ongoing manga isn't difficult. Especially if you mostly read monthly manga. I just wish I could have the schedule spread out more. Seems most of the stuff I'm reading comes out in the second half of the month. The only manga I was reading ongoing that came out at the beginning was CCS Clear Card but that's been over for a while.

Anyway, I usually get ~5+ chapters daily, and periodically there will be mass dumps from some new group popping up and MTL dumping to catch up. Holidays seem to up the dump rate. I don't know how you managed to pick shit that updates on the same day, that just seems like bad luck.

Ishida was clearly burnt out from Tokyo Ghoul and wanted to do something lighter. The second chapter actually had me laugh like a maniac, if it ever gets adapted they better get some good animation for the entire tractor chase segment, it can turn into a complete meme.In general the manga tries to maintain an even split between lighthearted and dark stuff because the entire core theme is a duality of white and black (seriously it's everywhere, both main couples and the vast majority of character pairings are black-white themed, Yamato Mori and Queem's flags are black and white, the Beast that will defeat the Calamity has one black and one white wing). And despite being generally positive and lighthearted, some subplots are even more miserable than in TG. For example, Azuma was saved from Chaos, but it doesn't change the fact he's a Queem's soulless clone whose life is literally meaningless.
