Art is detailed and simulates the outlines and cut-ins from western comic book, the outlines and motion look good but the cut-ins between fights look really awkward. Character designs are censored which means they won't be fixed in the Blu-ray like they did with Toga in My Hero Academia. Overall the art direction looks better than MHA but the frame by frame animation and character desings look far worse, I was hoping they would touch up the character desings a little to make it closer to Horikoshi's but they honestly made it worse. I assume it will end at the end of the Queen Bee arc, but if it ends up being 2 cours it should end right after the end of the Sky Egg.

More like Dandadan's adaption, less like Jojo's, so to speak. There was a huge battle between Koichi and the main villain that if anything went on for too long. Aizawa's backstory was barely midway through the series.

Point is, while Vigilantes does some really fucking neat things with the MHA concept (especially early on), I remember it being rough around the edges compared to the original. If they want this to stand alongside MHA, the director will have to put some elbow grease into the adaptation, while the original was more straightforward.
