But she herself wasnt really an evil person(more like abrasive and bratty), on the contrary she's big justicefag and that's why party betrayed her, because kingdom couldnt risk her turning on it if she for some reason would consider it evil. That's why MC helped her as he had some respect for her defeating demon king, saving people and all.
