People complain about Jinbe being in the crew a lot but I like him. It would've helped if he joined a lot sooner, like Fishman Island would've been nice, though I understand it would go against how his character was set up. It also doesn't help that the Straw Hats who join after Robin don't receive as many bonding moments to help them feel like they're a part of the group, with much of post timeskip spent with the crew separated.

Since we're almost at the big meat of Act 3 there were some things I was thinking about with Wano similar to how our perspective on Dressrosa changed when doing this daily.For one, Acts 1 and 2 are somehow simultaneously rushed and bloated at the same time. Wano is long as fuck but so much was rushed through or just suddenly happened. Like Yasuie's execution and Zoro's fight with Benimaru or whatever his name was. That shit just randomly started out of nowhere. And there are so many new characters and shit introduced and it's just impossible to care. Like Ashura Douji and Kawamatsu. Who even cares about those guys? They're totally irrelevant. And there are just so many other minor characters in Wano that feel the same way, the cast is absurdly bloated. I refuse to believe anyone actually gave a shit about Yasuie when he died, that guy is not a character until flashbacks. And then the Big Mom stuff, etc. etc.The plot is just so all over the place and Kaido hasn't even really done anything.I will say that there has been more funny moments in Wano than I remember. And although I'm loathe to admit this, Oden wasn't as awful as I remember. I have a lot of problems with that flashback but Oden himself wasn't the biggest problem. Orochi comes off as a decent villain too.There are just too many characters involved.

We know Wano was in the works for decades at this point, i i feel it was somewhat of a pet project for Oda.my theory l Oda knew Arc 3 whould be too long and instead of scalling back the arc and making it titgher, he rushed arc 1 and 2.
