Did anyone else notice how much the direction for character designs changed in Shippuden? In part 1 you got a lot characters that looked "grotesque" and creepy/off-putting, like Dosu, Zabuza or Kimimaro when he does his body horror. Everyone in part 2 looks like pretty boys because Kishi began making everything look too safe. The only exceptions I can think of are Kakuzu and maybe Sasori. I remember someone in the older threads said they dislike Neji's new design because it looked too much like fujo bait. I kinda understand what they were saying now.
