Hello anons, I've been labbing a lot with Ryuki in preparation for the upcoming special match tournament but recently I'm on a bit of a loss streak in ranked. I've gotten pretty good at Ryuki's Air Rend/Earth Dragon high-low mixup opener, but the issue is his combo extension potential is so low. I especially have a hard time with the Koga matchup, his fist eye super that gives him auto dodge is simply bullshit. I'm tempted to switch to Ohma, who people tell me plays just like Ryuki but better, but I'm not sure.Any advice?

Okubo, at his core, basically does what Agito was doing by having really solid fundamentals and an aptitude for switching up his pacing to fuck with people trying to get a read on him. The difference I guess is that Okubo prefers raw aggression and proactive mix-ups so that he sets the pace of the match. If he developed keener foresight, then he'd be better at locking people down with his endless swaps between strikes, holds, and throws. The "ideal Okubo" would play a lockdown game where "his turn" never ends because he's just on top of you the whole time with the perfect follow-up. It'd be a somewhat linear fighting style at base, but really oppressive if he just stat checks you out. He'd probably still hard lose to anyone who's able to cope with his change-ups though.
