A lot of things this season felt like a set-up for a season 3, I think what stuck out to me personally regarding that was the introduction of ghost's gaining a regenerative ability that was used in two episodes but wasn't elaborated on or pushed any further- especially in the finale which had no ghost involvement whatsoever.
