After that they don't put much focus on it. Pretty much everthing takes place on Earth past that point. You could start by watching the Bardock - Father of Goku TV special which is perfect since it gives you all the context of Goku's origin and it ties the Saiyan to the Freeza Saga in a good enough summary in under 50 minutes while being a Space Opera. If that matches your taste, then you may consider watching the story whole.Don't pay attention to the retards telling you to watch Kai. It looks like shit (some scenes look like they were edited in MS Paint, no joke), the soundtrack is shit, the voice acting is less inspired since it's the same lines they repeated a thousand times before, and, well, the pacing argument is nonsensical, It tries to copy the manga and it does a bad job at it. And it shouldn't anyway, it is a different medium after all...Filler is sometimes necessary to keep things cohesive. So, watch OG. Subbed of course. Thank me later.
