I have had a big sleepy eepy bo peepy and I have decided. Dressrosa is good. it spends too much time in the colosseum, kind of fucks over Kyros. fun fruit fights. smart move to fuck off brook, chopper, nami and sanji to make space for Dressrosa. Doffy is a cool villain but I am sad we didn't get a total breakdown (we kind of did with bird cage.) where he loses all composure about it but he's not dead so maybe later. It's not like we haven't broken into Impel Down before! Had a distinct lack of buggy and it got really unweildy near the end since the fights were all over the place - I'd rather a fight start and finish before we see the next one really kick off though I accept that's just not going to (in this arc.) happen especially since the villains are sort of pushovers if you're willing to throw one of our monsters at them (outside of Pica and doflamingo, fittingly.) I'm a little sad that the next arc, presumably, has more focus on the others then were back together on whole cake? I hope so, I enjoy the adventures of the crew together more than some of the crew and some other bits of the crew. Looking forward to however it all goes at any rate. Trafalgar D. Water Law being enemies of the world government and the celestial dragons.yeah a little wary of the creeping "Luffy is a chosen one." but it could just be an assassins creed templar / assassins situation where this one was a successful run instead of a specific chosen one and were just following the most successful D. though the chances of that being the case feel not great if trafalgar is getting his shit beat. Perhaps we'll find out more when more of this Joyboy gets brought up in the next Poneglyph. I think i'm going to let it sit for a few more hours, digest a bit more of dressrosa before I head onto Zou.

>>282878462Rebeccas plot starts off fine but she gets shelved very quickly which ruins whatever they were doing with her - doens't help she looks the way she does. it's hard to take anyone seriously when they're dressed like a JRPG MMO ad. Fujitora made a gamble but I fully believe he could have wiped doflamingo off the map but he's also the only other Marine doing fucking anything to rehab their image, Smoker and Fuji are the only two worth a damn. Garp, tsuru and sengoku are wankers (see marineford.) and the rest have all been corrupt or incompetent. outside of Akainu, who is a terrifying dyed in the wool stooge. I'd say Kizaru and aokiji were aswell but aokiji is..retired? or undercover and Kizaru seems more like an attack dog than anything else. I haven't seen him do anything except turn up and cause problems. It IS fucked that Fuji would make the gamble to put it all on Luffy and the straw hats to clean up the donquixotes but its the only way he could see to making the warlord system get brought back into questioning. If he was less competent or less powerful, I'd say the gamble was a mistake but I think he could have dogwalked the donquixotes and he put it on the line - he was in the bird cage aswell and then commits himself and the marines to trying to hold it back.
