Hoping the rageposting has slowed down a bit, let's summarize.I supppose the purpose of these first arc chapters was to make Okarun vulnerable again.He has grown under many aspects through his self-improvement autism, so his only weakness is Momo at this point: remove her and he's lost his purpose.So Momo had to be "taken away" from him somehow, and ntr would have been way too ridiculous an option (also I doubt that Tatsu would have liked it himself, not to mention it would have spelled the death of his carreer).Thinking about it, this scenario is similar to a: >"Momo is critical conditions in the hospital, we don't know if she will make it out alive"except at this point that would have been difficult/contrived to write because we have several healing methods now. Also, at least with amnesia Momo can still be around during the arc, even though her character is crippled now.So I wonder about the narrative angle here. From the climax of this chapter, at this point I could assume that Tatsu wanted to make sure that Okarun "deserved" Momo by kicking him in the guts and forcing him to try reaching for her less passively this time. This could make sense, except I doubt that any reader saw that part of their dynamic as a problem, and maybe there were less painful ways to address this anyway. Although maybe it was a problem for Okarun, and we just didn't know: maybe he though his relationship was a bit undeserved, given Momo's role. That's another possible explaination I think, since Tatsu knows him better than us. Mixed opinions on the current arc.There's not much at stake considering both Okarun and Momo got softballs, Momo still subconsciously longing for Okarun means she won't drift (and therefore won't regret anything after getting her memories back), and Okarun decided to be proactive so they'll be inseparable soon again.Not much in the way of drama is going to happen (fortunately ntrfags keep starving), so this is likely either a battle arc, a cute ombudsman sized mini-arc, or (unlikely) an arc to close the love triangles.

However, Okarun has advantage of 200+ chapters of growth and progress. If anything, it will be "old" Momo falling for "new" Okarun.
