We begin back at the employer's office, where he says that the Gray they encountered must be a Zashiki-Warashi, a type of yokai that grants luck and peace, but since it did the opposite, it must be a Reverse Zashiki-Warashi.The next day, they're back to delivering stuff. Yamu asks Daidai why she began doing Gray part-time work as a nail rolls around on the ground. The voice speaks again and she trips, almost falling eye-first on the nail, if it weren't for Daidai holding her back by the purse.The Reverse Warashi (that's the nickname Yamu gave her) appears again, looking bigger and voice clearer than before.Daidai, without missing a beat, goes back to talking about why she started Gray working. Her friend got a ton of debt before vanishing, that friend being Mai Sakimura, who put her as the joint surety, which is the same thing that happened to Kaiji lmao.At the same time, Mai is winning big in online casinos and her stock portfolio rises every day, while thanking the Zashiki-Warashi.Daidai apparently let her use her name as joint surety because you help out your friends when they're in trouble; on the contrary, Yamu is too lazy to hold a job, so she got a ton of debt she has to pay off. Daidai is not impressed.Mai spots Daidai again, and in her evil monologue to herself, explains that the more unlucky they are, the more lucky she'll become.Strangely, we get a view of a newspaper that reads "Last ray of hope, lost".
Back to the girls, Yamu notices that the Jizou is a statue of the Reverse Warashi, and makes the connection that her powers got stronger after Daidai ripped off a talisman.Right after that, Daidai notices it as well and declares out to the world that she'll remove every single "sticker" after work.Yamu, shocked, calls Daidai incompetent, which sparks a fight, causing Yamu to run away to save her life. She shortly realizes that being by herself is more dangerous, especially when Daidai saved her before. Then a car runs towards her.Meanwhile, Daidai is praying to the Reverse Warashi to protect Yamu, which only gives her more power.That's it for now. Next chapter next Friday.
