>>283939841I didn't read Wano weekly, but I enjoyed binging it, it's a great send-off to the big Alabasta style arcs. Maybe it could've been edited to be even better. The fights weren't the best, though they have some good moments, especially Luffy vs Kaido and Law/Kid vs Big Mom. Momo ended up being a likable prince character, the suffering of Wano under Kaido was conveyed well, I liked Orochi as a villain, he reminds me of Spandam. Oden's long flashback is entertaining, though I understand the dislike for him. Oden being inserted into Roger's crew feels unnecessary, even if it's being used for the plot going forward. Overall I'd give it 8/10.

Also reading without the usual retards that shit up the OP threads is much more enjoyable.That said, it didn't improve my opinion that much, i would still put wano on my least favorite arcs list (probably my least favorite overall considering how long it is and it's place in the story) - i think it's bloated in some apects and rushed on others, don't like some of the plot developments, i reeeeally dislike Yamato, and other issuesI does have it's good moments too

On retrospect, this low point for One Piece is still merely a middle point in quality with respect to the average manga. It's passable... which isn't great. Well so now that it's officially over, I'm still firm in my belief that Wano is the worst arc (so far) of One Piece.It was better in some ways than I remembered and yet worse in others.For one, it had more funny moments than I remembered. A few more little positives. Queen was also fun, the Oden disgusted face gag was great, and Oden himself was not as bad as I remembered. I still think he's shit, but he's not the worst character ever. The problem with Oden more has to do with everything around him and the flashback and the constant dick-sucking. Oden himself gets some good moments purely due to his annoyed reaction to everyone sucking his dick. It's the Oden wank that's worse than Oden. And because of that Yamato, a character who would already be bad, dumb, and pointless, is even worse. Wano as a whole is just such a mess, it's simultaneously rushed and bloated at the same time, the first two acts have too much shit going on that isn't properly developed. Who even actually cares about Yasuie when he dies? And then all the Yakuza leaders, and so forth. From the start, it was a huge mistake to make the 9 red scabbards that many characters. Cut out Kawamatsu, cut out Kiku, cut out Ashura Douji. These characters don't fucking matter. Then there was the random shit with Zoro and his bridge fight where he loses Shusui. Wano is also literally a mary sue country. Pluton is there, Road Poneglyph is there, Seastone comes from there, holy shit. And seastone is such a terrible plot device and Wano just makes that even more obvious when you introduce these seastone nails and they're basically irrelevant. No one uses seastone armor or weapons or does anything special with them. Then there's the random appearances. Jinbei and Marco coming out of fucking nowhere to help save the day, then Zunesha too, and then Green Bull and Shanks at the end. My god. The biggest problems are Kaido just being disappointing and Nika.
