Then after a couple of those you could keep things fresh with Chrono, inverting the task from hunting to protecting.There's also the big problem of Desscaras who both lowers the stakes and damages her own appeal by appearing too often. She's strong enough to make things feel well less dangerous while also needing to be shown struggling a bit to keep things interesting, which kinda goes against her position as the strongest.Ichi and Komugi should've been rotated between the various high level witches so you can keep introducing new interesting things. Every new witch could showcase a different side of witchcraft and it could also be used as a more effective way to grow Ichi's character by simply expanding his horizon.
