That's what I'm pretty sure the "aim at vital point" is supposed to mean, to use magic taichi strikes that harmlessly render people unconscious, and unless I'm wrong then it could have been translated better. When you aim at vital spots it directly translates to, well, fatal strikes. And Kogan clearly wanted to trollface that he didn't since he's such a funny geezer.
