Ah I looked back, it was March. It came from less far away than it takes to go across Texas. Anon said the problem was they ordered my gift from Japan, but it got returned, so they had to wait for it to get shipped a second time. Depending on country and shipping method it can take up to 8 months at times, it all depends on how much you are willing to drop for shipping, when I shipped to Finland I had to shill about 80 bucks to rush it otherwise it would take 2 months to arrive on regular mail.

Finally home for Christmas, gonna post the cards one after another now.
This year was great, don't think I ever got this many cards, usually only 60% of cards actually arrive, but this year its 75% that got here in time for christmas!
Also had a Problem with my internet. Got a new neighbor in my apartment complex who had the bright idea to touch the dsl cables and do some wiring himself, completely cut my connection for 2 full weeks. Fun times. Would've liked to be more active in the threads this year.

I rarely rewatch stuff, but I'm starting to do it more and more. Except of course for the yearly Sora no Woto rewatch, you should join since you said you liked the show as well and want to rewatch it! Drinking calvados with anons is great. I usually put mine into "heißer Apfel". Usually drink Glühwein in the winter days though. Didn't actually go to Wilhelmshaven christmas market this year, but I usually go there since I have family living close by.
The thing I liked most about Lycoris Recoil was the general atmosphere and how comfy but still action oriented it was. Very good combo.

Other than that, I also agree that each Rei is beautiful and that the final Gendo/Shinji fight was great at both their relationship and meta levels. Other than that I really wish there was another movie between 3.0 and 3.0+1.0 or the first leaks about 6h last movie length being true as it truly needed some more time to fully develop the "post impact" world.

With the Christmas/New Year season I got extended leave and will certainly work on my backlog, especially before New Year. As for the Gundam Origin - I really want to get deep into Gundam universe, since I'm just a tourist-tier who watched few newest entries and the Hathaway movie.
As for the current chink/korean series I'm almost finished with Reverend Insanity which was fine, but my god, the fights were going for much too long and the powerlevels and attacks worked as the plot demanded it at current moment. I really loved LotM/CoI for the harder power system. And with Korean I'm currently 70% into The Villain wants to live - which is pretty fun and I fucking loved the Expedition33-like paintress/Voice arc.I like how basically each character has some sort of depression arc going for them. Other than that I want to return to the Trash of Counts Family as I dropped it after wuxia world. I also finished Greatest Estate Developer and I really loved it.

That's rough. Yeah, it's really hit or miss, sometimes it just works and gets stuff done in a couple of days, sometime it takes over a week. They just straight up lost one of my tracked cards and found it again like 15 days later, while the other two were sent just fine.
Still, it isn't all bad. I'll almost certainly spend most of the day tomorrow with a few people that I despise being around (family, unfortunately) and it'll probably sour my mood for the day. I'll be in a better headspace to properly appreciate gifts the day after. Or maybe I'm just coping.

Motherfucker printed his own packaging for cookies, two different ones, based on my card wishlist. Made a really cute card as well, very nice handwriting, just wow. Was pretty stunned in general.
And Nagatoro was more about the smug part, less the loli part. Smug is a must, loli a bonus. Nagatoro might be a bit outside of a loli, but her smugness justifies her place in my list. Best camper is Shimarin, only partly because i like saying shimarin. Backside Jahy is very cute.
Also I don't really catch up with streams on autism, not even sure what it is. Only participating in the yearly sora no woto rewatches. But I might check it out, if you can lead me to the place.

But I got a little concern about the food, do you think it's still good? The Donut packaging is kinda bloated, that worries me.

Later at home I reached into my pocket to finally read your card and reality hit me all at once when I pulled out the waste bag instead.

I think the ones I have as favorites can be construed as "Normie picks" or "Very basic surface level taste" which I think is fine. I'm in the same boat as you, I think it's incredible that we manged to get a season 2. I think it's great! It portrays youthful rebellion through this neat, techy, alien, surf culture aesthetic, it highlights the line between stupid moody teenager and stupid moody adult, and I think has some really satisfying romance. If you've seen the original gundam, it's VERY inspired by that, but goes for a much different tone and overall feel.
Definitely give it another shot at some point.
It also just looks and sounds very good. If nothing else, the soundtrack is always worth a listen.

No you’re missing the context, i went shopping because there was no tracking sent to me until the night. DHL in Mexico does not have those paper slips that hangs on the door like American version does when leaving. When talking about the problem, the only other solution DHL gives is pickup, not re-delivery. DHL has strict rules to not give packages to people who should receive it with tracking, they only give it if the exact full name is on the package. My anon assumes the fake name to be real, that’s why no one can never pick it up. There’s no name under that address.

The reason I do higher tiers is simply because shipping is expensive as fuck anyway. Felt silly to buy 50 bucks worth of stuff from Japan and to pay $40 in shipping.

First of all, very lovely packing. You have made me properly ashamed of my own lack of skills in that regard. Secondly, my list was not "horny". It was certainly very wholesome with maybe a bit of intimacy. The card is lovely and will certainly join all the others on my desk for the holidays.
Unfortunately, the cookies probably got somewhat damaged, because I can´t quite figure out what the secret message is. Pretty sure the pink ones are calling me a faggot. Maybe some smart anons can help out, but I will certainly look at them again in the morning with a clear head.

Now, moving on to the actual gift itself, I have been pleasantly surprised once again.
Taisho Maiden Fairytale has always been one of my favourites, probably even among the first romance themed manga that I read and which got me hooked on the genre, but I never knew it was popular enough to have actual figurines. Now I have been informed in the most pleasant way and while I can not display it properly quite yet, I have given it the center of the stage on the photo. The knife is for scale and not a part of the gift.. The cars will have to be assembled, but I can already tell, that they will fit in quite nicely in the panorama I have on my desk.
As for the stockings, I shall see if they are comfortable and if they increase my resistance against the blasted cold. There will be no pictures posted about the results.
All in all, I am most pleased and a heartfelt thank you to you, my dear anon. I hope your Christmas will be nice.
