In fact her main issue, relationship, theme is still Yoru, the War devil inside her head, and it's very doubtful that she can even ever get separated from Yoru completely someday. It's highly likely that she won't.All of these mean one thing, Asa won't be necessary to end up with Denji. Just finished my full reread of the series. Part 2 is honestly still very mid at best, but the whole Yoru fight reads MUCH better without week long gaps. That said, it still goes on for far too long and depends on "tee hee random bullshit go!" way too much to take seriously. And that seems to be the running theme of part 2, it all feels like everything happens without much fanfare, without sense sometimes. It's like a weird surreal progression of events that doesn't feel justified with the greater narrative. Back in 2020, Lin mentioned he wanted to work with Fujimoto on CSM for about six years, which would line up with an ending around early 2027(part 2 serialized since 2021 but they planned it earlier). And honestly, I can’t really see Fujimoto wanting to write this series on forever either.
