I genuinely don’t understand the appeal of a recast Illya GK. With a sculpt that refined, even minor casting or paint flaws become glaring. You’re taking a masterwork and introducing weaknesses the original simply didn’t have. It’s like buying a reproduction of a renaissance painting where the brushwork and color depth are slightly off - the very nuances that made it exceptional are exactly what get lost. At that point, it defeats the entire purpose. I wouldn’t consider it even for 1 yen.

I'm just reporting back that my zeon curry plate is my favorite plate now. I feel it was designed really well for curry and stews as well as things like fried rice. The edges of plate are also extended so it feels more carrying a tray or serving bowl and doesn't burn you. It also holds a ton of food so soup works great in it as well. Honestly 10/10 the shape is really what makes me like it rather than the text or brand.
