Most Servants will just stop moving on the spot if their spirit core takes significant damage. BC just lets them keep going for a while depending on their rank in the skill. Heracles took Rin's gem, which was a huge payload of mana, died, but kept going. Basically, all BC exists to do for Berserker Heracles is smooth out the transition between his lives. It allows him to keep fighting WHILE he's regenerating. It's less useful on him than some because he effectively has a form of BC in God Hand already and his A+ END makes it so that he's hard to kill to begin with, but BC just makes it so that there's basically no lull in his onslaught unless the damage makes his body non-functional, at which point he has to regen some first.
