This is one of the lamest magic systems I have ever seen. The whole thing boils down to just drawing circles, which makes it inherently uninteresting. But it has some meat to it, aside from its pretty visuals. With the whole thing being about life, legacy, and the way our actions and choices can impact future generations in a positive way. This series, though, another anon said it best: it is perfectly inoffensive. It makes sense that people seem to have gotten more of a reaction out of the author's ideology than from what happened in these two episodes, because the material is what it is: a pretty, but fairly derivative fantasy story.

This is by far the dumbest thing about this work, because we are led to believe that, once upon a time, it was common knowledge that everyone could use magic, and in fact, everyone did. But then one day "they" made a pact, and from that day on "they" started to gaslight people into believing that actually not everyone can use magic. To put it into perspective, imagine if tomorrow a group of people started saying that only special people can actually use a gun, and then everyone, instead of saying "What do you mean?
