In episode 1, Hitomi was just a mindless drone who believed the "getting to Shangri-La will result in your perfect self" marketing. Even in episode 8 she was still insistent that Tomoro returns to school. It's only when she sees Tomoro getting kidnapped by Gokuwmon in episode 20 does she realise something weird is happening. This episode is the first time we've seen her genuinely consider that Tomoro's words back then meant something. Seeing her get one as part of the first break against the World Union would be good, but it would nice to end the show the way it began, but this time Hitomi's glitching Sapotama is a good thing for her.As an aside, I feel that even with the darkness of Beatbreak we're going to get an ending along the lines of "Digimon and humans can now live together and the Five Stars/Wong's World Union no longer exists". The MCP take over the World Union and turn it into a Digimon/human cooperation organisation or something, I haven't thought that far ahead yet.
