Otherwise catching him by surprise seems like the most consistent think that was able to damage him. So either semifinals Ohma or R2 Waka with Blast Core or I would argue R3 Agito with Dragon Shot. Julius depends a lot if the Devil's lance can actually hurt him.

I watched the anime a while back and stopped while it was airing. Stumbled into the Omega storytime around chapter 20, left. Happened upon the first storytime sometime in 2021 and partially read it. Found Omega again midway into purgatory and read it, stopped around Berserker bowl, came back just about when it ended, and kept up since. Maybe a third of the series actually read. It's so saddening seeing the state of Omega due to how much of a masterpiece Asura was. Pre-Ohma revival, the sequel was on a good track. Koga and Ryuki were compelling duo protagonist, revisiting the "legend" characters expand on their stories without insulting any of them. The worm plot could use some work, but that was the whole point of Ryuki.Of course all of it was thrown away when Ohma of all people take center stage. Now everybody is reduced to their stoic stereotypes, the over-reliant of AI, the choreography took its toll, and without competent editor, Sandroism spiralled out of control.But the worse of it is the fans, who keep reading, and by extension, supporting this garbage. That's why we have to take an unpopular stance, by ruining the Asura storyline. People call us names, denigrate us, insults became commonplace, but we persist. We understand that we're going against the 4chanettique, but somebody had to step up. By making sure Sandro never ever write again without tard-wrangling.I don't know if you knew japanese, but there is rumour in the twitter that Sandro wanted to see how much shit the western world will keep eating his stuff. Knowing so much about Omega makes this ending so weird. There is literally not even a hint of cloning technology or anything remotely sci-fi in this series (even the most batshit Hanafusa stuff is still kinda grounded if implausible), Raian is probably the character that I LEAST want to see more of and apparently he's a main character now, and Ohma's death is retconned so all of that emotional climax is wasted. That said I can completely see how Omega went to shit given the non-fight plot stuff is by far the weakest parts of Asura, taking away the tournament format and making it more plot-heavy is clearly not playing to Sandro's strengths. . Speaking of, do any actual omeganons remember what chapter has Agito becoming a water elemental for a whole fight, that was the first chapter of Omega I read and the thread made me laugh so I hard I pissed my pants very slightly at work and had to spill water on myself to cover it up.
