I really tried reading this and got to the end of the auction arc before I just gave up. The characters are boring, the art outside of fights is hideous, and the world building isn’t especially compelling. I find it impossible to care about the swords when the MC is stiffer than a 2x4 and barely seems to do anything other than kill people and stare into space. Am I missing something? Does it get way better later on?
