I always said these movie bonuses are a foreshadow for a reset where all dead characters will be revived again and live the lives they want. With the final chapter looks like I was right. >>287793880Anon, the ending was extremely open ended, Fujimoto put the implication that Denji and Asa will meet again, it wasn't Donnie Darko ending and more like Spirited Away, Stone Ocean or Prince of Persia Sands of Time. The ending can be read as Denji and Asa their own lives in peace separately from each other or Denji and Asa will get together in the future without any baggage of the old world. The ending doesn't favor in one interpretation.

Alright now everything has come to an end I think I can say my thoughts, of why I never want to ship Asa and Denji. Ya know ever since I saw Asa as the seemingly new main girl in the first chapter of p2 I KNEW instantly she will be hated by at least 90% of the fandom because I knew 90% of this fandom have already shipped Denji with one of pt1 girls right? And ya know what, shippers are real SAVAGE I can't emphasize this enough really. And ya know what, Denji is not even worth fighting for. So from the start I had a conclusion, that Asa better stay far far FAR away from Denji. Too bad Fuji just annoyingly had to force her to associate with him. But at least he let them part now. So I hope they'll never meet again for their happiness and other shippers' happiness. PS: Me shipping Asa and Yoshida is actually my concession to other waifubros who shipped Denji with one of pt1 girls that's all.

So this illustration of Reze might be true now. She might be really a hs student at Asa's school too. Actually my headcanon is that she's the daughter of the coffee shop owner in this reset.
Because the characters still have lingering attachments for each other, I believe Yoru will try to find Asa again. She or he will keep wandering to the traffic light where she/he first met Asa in previous life or go to her school or her old apartment looking for sth that she/he won't even remember. Thinking of this makes me feel sorry for Yoru. I really wish that Yoru can find Asa again.
