I really like how they had everyone contribute in some way and ichigo slashing the title card and the zangetsu reveal and ichigo/ishida doing the "killing the big menos" call back thing was great but the episode still spent a lot of time on people fighting eyes before the culmination at the end which could have been cut to make room for isshin and ryuken like how did those two get nothing? Also no aizen is also disappointing, we have dondonchakka and whatever the fuck aiding grimmjow with the final blow but they couldn't cut some of the eye slashing from earlier in the ep to have isshin/ryuken/aizen do even one small thing at the end? A guy who got his ass thoroughly kicked well before the main story began being introduced as an asspull final villain doesn't feel like the story is upping the ante, and Ichibei had him beat before copious, egregious asspulls began rolling out. The Soul King, or whoever oversaw the secrets about the Soul King, would have worked better as a final antagonist if Bleach didn't just end with Aizen or stuck to being on a smaller scale with the Fullbringers onward.
