>>5056014big ass argentavis would probably scare me if it was still around. flamingos creep me out tho
>>5056014who are you quoting?
>>5056014your concept of scary is heavily distorted by human centric hollywood tier concepts
>>5055990what are they? look like dinosaurs with feathers
>>5056173smooth-billed ani
>>5056173It's ai
>>5058115I once saw one at a park and i could swear it was a fucking Microraptor
>>5055990Turns out, if paleotrannies spend decades drawing birds with mouths and tails, retards will think dinosaurs when they see birds.
they look sexy lowk
>>5055990>chinktroons can't even tell if Megaraptora are basal coelurosaurs, basal carcharodontosaurs or SISTER TO FREAKING EUTYRANNOSAURS>they cannot tell if "compsognathids" are basal "coelurosaurs" or juvenile carnosaurs>still no explanation about how a pretty confident therizinosaur have been found from freaking Hettangian strata>Carnosauria in the nearly OG wider sense is pretty much proven by nowNearly half century of maoist revisionist propaganda crumbling before our very eyes! Based Trump!
>>5060838>>5060832>he posted it twice
>>5060839that's how you know we're dealing with ivan bots
>>5060843You are a bot.
>>5060845quiet HIVan
>>5060839No, I posted it thrice. >>5061052
>>5059047bro, that’s something we think, not something we say
>>5056014no comedy chevron which means you sound like that
>>5056159I would say it is defined by what animals are dangerous to people. Which modern birds are not
>>5056159You are assuming that
dinosaurs were just like the real animals of today, not movie monstersthey aren’t all going to be scary because real animals aren’t. even polar bears and crocodiles aren’t extremely terrifying despite their actual behavior. sharks just look dopey and they are mindless killing machines. the window of scariness shifted a long time ago when humans killed off, learned to avoid, or left behind most of the shitty animals and now none of them come close to the terror of hearing "whatup yboi" *plasticky click* or "FEDERAL POLICE"
>>5062526>dinosaurs were just like the real animals of today, not movie monsters>reddit spacing>they aren’t all going to be scary because real animals aren’t. even polar bears and crocodiles aren’t extremely terrifying despite their actual behavior. sharks just look dopey and they are mindless killing machines.>reddit spacing>the window of scariness shifted a long time ago when humans killed off, learned to avoid, or left behind most of the shitty animals and now none of them come close to the terror of hearing "whatup yboi" *plasticky click* or "FEDERAL POLICE"You have to go back.
>>5062528dinosaurs were just like real animals. get over it.
>>5062526>>5062548But like 16 feet tall, that's kinda scary.
>>5062526Come on man, just imagine how scary even a 2 foot tall spider would be.
>>5058873but birds do have mouths and tails... what kind of birds are you seeing
>>5060838> Hettagian therizinosaurWhiskey Tango Foxtrot.
>>5062548To get an American to admit dinosaurs existed and are not a hoax made by the devil means you're already talking to the intellectual 1%.Asking the American to also see dinosaurs as real animals may be asking for too much.
>>5055990The greatest tragedy of growing up is realizing dinos will never be real again Close second is realizing they will never be real so that featherfags and jurassic dorks can finally stfu and enjoy Dino but he Real
>>5063912seek help
>>5063912Free rent
>>5063012They have beaks and tail feathers, retard-kun
>>5064024Yeah he's wrong. Plenty of Americans believe that dinosaurs existed and that Noah took them aboard the ark.
>>5056014>>5061198So spiders aren't scary? There's only like one or two species of spider that could possibly kill a health adult.
>scaleykeks will tell you THIS isn't cool and scary enough
>>5060838>Megaraptora being mysteriousI don't see a problem with this. They're a very strange group that have a pretty generic set of traits from the shoulders up. Combine that with less than stellar preservation.I think that they're at least probably closely related to actual maniraptor dinosaurs, because they share similar heightened bone pneumacity. So grouping them should have that association in mind.
>>5064604It doesn't matter if it's "scary" or "cool" - we're not doing creature design here.
they cute
