Taken together, a morally coherent Heaven would be continuous with a healed Earth rather than an escape from it; open-ended rather than frozen; free rather than controlled; relational rather than solitary; truthful without humiliation; creative rather than static; and compassionate without exception. Above all, it would be a reality where life is freely chosen, endlessly affirmed, and never used as leverage—by institutions, by others, or even by God. If a vision of Heaven violates our deepest intuitions about love, dignity, freedom, and responsibility, the problem is not that those intuitions are corrupt, but that the vision is.
