You don't get it, do you? There is no dump, only dips. 2.52 is the floor. Any dip below that will be slurped within 12 hours. Only BTC can drag the entire crypto market down, including XRP. But once our floor is breached, we will slurp. That is the XRP divergence, the rise from the ashes. We are 3 days from the SEC filing their principal brief. How do you think that will play out?

>A unique node list (UNL) is a server's list of validators that it trusts not to collude. Every XRP Ledger server is configured with a UNL, which determines which validation votes it listens to and which votes it throws out during the consensus process.
>To make it easier to get a diverse and reliable list of validators that has high overlap with others, the XRP Ledger uses a system of recommended validator lists. A server can be configured to download a recommended list from a publisher, and to use that list as its UNL.
>Currently, the default configuration for XRP Ledger servers uses two lists: one published by the XRP Ledger Foundation, and one published by Ripple. Typically, these lists are very similar to one another or even identical. The term default UNL (sometimes abbreviated dUNL) refers to the set of validators included in these lists.

It's literally all right here.

They would not want that

There will crypto and digital assets in the future, Crypto will be decentralized and digital assets slightly more centralized. Governments, banks and giga corps will want to control what they are using.
Do you think they will allow the public to have their own financial system if they cant control it.

But I may be wrong, I don't remember where I read this
>>
>>59583216
Sorry for the late reply anon, I'm enjoying Tangem a lot. I can manage my XRP and other coins, from other networks, on the same app. The app provides methods to swap the coins you have through partnerships with exchanges. It's easy to use, you just need to touch you Tangem card on the back of your phone and type the access code. You can even save the access code on your device and use your fingerprint/face ID instead of the access code as long as you typed the access code at least once on your phone.

I can also put my wallet address on Xaman while I have it on Tangem so I can use Tangem to make transactions and Xaman to get a more detailed view of my wallet, like all the events on my XRP wallet

I've done some research and looks like Tangem is the safer wallet out there. I have a Ledger Nano X but I lost hope on how safe it is after they started selling a service that allows you to recover your private keys from it, even if you don't have the access code or anything, meaning that there is a way to extract your private keys from the wallet.

I'm 4 glasses of wine deep. I just wanna say, we're gonna make it Viscount bros. I work in treasury and while I don't 100% understand how XRP/RLusd will be utilized, I do see how cross border payments are a bitch. Different wire cut off times per different region and the SWIFT system are so aids and out dated. ISO 20022 is still being implemented and I have high hopes. As someone "in the industry", this whole system could be done better, and I think Ripple will help with that. Cheers.

Because the amount XRP would fetch @ $589 in those tiers goes a lot farther in a third world country.
849 XRP would get you around $500,000 for example. $500,000 isn't even the median price of a house in some states in the US and you'd still have to wage for other expenses, but you could straight up retire in places like Southeast Asia or parts of Eastern Europe with $500,000.
Suicide bag tier makes life easier in the first world, it could complete your life elsewhere.

https://nitter.poast.org/UnderCoercion/status/1873935870778368040#m

I have a ledger nano x, D'cent biometric, and recently got a Keystore Pro 3. My stack is split between these wallets because schizo.
Keystore is pretty cool and open source on firmware. Their security chips are not, but I like it; even though it's chink tech. It's "air-gapped" and relies on 3rd party wallets, so I set up a wallet through the xrptoolkit. Extra steps for transactions, but tedium is good security.

i am. and i'll literally DCA my entire life. It will always be worth it. Today I am buying an asset set to change the world at a 4000% discount. Has anyone else become increasingly unstable or maybe even more schizophrenic than they initially were ever since XRP started going up?

Like people at my work have been telling me that they think "i'm actually crazy" and sometimes have conversations with people who aren't there. And i'm not talking about thinking out loud but more like listening and then responding to. Also I talk to myself a lot and sometimes make weird sounds.

Maybe all this means it's finally time for XRP to moon?
>>

xrp schizodom is a trip. I feel like a flat earther when all I'm doing is looking at the biggest names in finance and saying "okay which crypto company are they involved with oh ok ripple ill go with that one." and saying "and how does ripple say XRP works oh they say it will be worth 5 figures." I'm being completely reasonable. I'm looking only at verifiable truths and drawing logical conclusions. and it makes me feel like a nutjob.
>>
>>59587555
Yes, this issue was really specific and not a real concern imo (probably a concern for folks using secret phrase instead of using the card mechanism though)

The main security feature in Tangem cards is generating a private key inside the card so the private key never leaves the card, you'll only use the card to make transactions.

This issue happened for all users that chose to, instead of generating a private key inside the card and using it, they chose to write their own manual secret phrase, just like you'd do if you didn't have a Tangem card. That completely fucks up all the security Tangem brings.

The bug happened because the secret phrase you typed on the app was being added to the debug logs of the app. That means that, if you just entered your secret phrase and opened a support request, the logs get added to the support request automatically, resulting in sharing your private key with them.

This bug didn't affect users that were using the Tangem as it should be, using the safety mechanism of the card that makes "impossible" (as they claim and it is still true to this day, considering public knowledge) to extract the private key from the card.

because that's how marketcap works.
>>
>>59588310
Wtf does gpus have to do with shares and yes they have the number of shares than there are xrp
>>
>>59588316
I actually dont have any idea how many GPU's there are in the world and if you even need to count the old ones nobody uses anymore, maybe its more than 100b idk
>>
>>59588320
Isnt market cap just how many of the things they have multiplied by the price? NVIDIA sells GPU's so it's the amount of GPU's times the price of all the GPU's. But then again the old ones you cannot buy anymore so they don't count and it would be too hard to measure.
>>
There are 25 billion nvidia shares
>>
>>59588326
Shares not gpus you mongoloid
>>
>So, total number of CUDA/OpenCL enabled GPUs is around 50 mln * 4 (4 Q in a year) * 4 (up to 4 years of modern GPU produced) ~= 0.8 - 1.2 billions. This is only an estimate, and real numbers can vary from 0.05 to 2 billion.5 jul 2011

Yeah it's 2011, probably have way more GPU's by now
>>
>>59588321
If you look at the history of the highest MC companies it used to be Banks and Oil until the tech companies took over, once the new financial system comes into play there's no reason why they cant take over the tech companies.
https://www.finhacker.cz/top-20-sp-500-companies-by-market-cap/#2002
>>
>>59588338
Yes and also GPU's have become much more expensive, some are even $3000 or so. If there's hundreds of those well you do the math the market cap is of course gonna be insanely high
>>
>>59588342
Professional gpus the stuff you cant buy at microcenter are 10 20 30k
>>
>>59588346
But do they count in their market cap? Surely GPU's they created 20 years ago that costs nothing now a days don't count right?
>>

They care about profits but there are stipulations and bullshit. There used to be a pretty easy speculative formula that involved number of product price and time but all thats over
