>Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Lars Løkke Rasmussen does not rule out that the EU will use its so-called "bazooka" against the United States in response to Donald Trump's wall.

>The minister said this on Monday on his way to an extraordinary meeting of EU trade ministers in Luxembourg.

>- We are so open to using the entire toolbox, he says.

>The bazooka is a regulation that the EU can use to punish countries that try to use economic coercion against member states.

>It can, among other things, prevent countries from participating in public EU tenders, prohibit a country from investing in the EU, invalidate patents and impose export bans.

>dude it'll be just like in 2022
What caused the 2022 drop again? Literally nothing? An inflation report?
The US is literally closing its ports, 10% tariffs all across is massive, few countries on earth have tariffs this high for bulk trade. the US is going full isolationist and they're saying this will be a long term policy, trading with the US will only be viable if your country surrenders its trade policy sovereignty to them. So we should at least expect a worst drop than 2022, at worst the end of the US as a global power.

They did. They want the world to burn. They feel that the system has failed them, and it's true that it has, real wages haven't increased in 6 years now despite record inflation, so they decided to destroy everything they can get their hands on. Most of them are happy it's burning right now, not realizing that this is going to hurt them the most.

I did something extremely retarded last night. I was playing around with CFDs and noticed I could go either long or short on Nasdaq futures with extreme leverage and set it to take profit automatically at some small amount like $40. I had to wait at most a minute before the position closed since it was so volatile. So I played around with this a bit and made like $150 in 10 minutes. I was having fun until the last short position I opened. The index pumped immediately afterwards and wouldn't come back down until this morning. Thankfully I was lucky enough to close with a $1 profit, otherwise I would have lost around $5000 by now.
Moral of the story: don't play around with 10x leverage.

Ironically this one is a solvable problem, the US has tons of deposits of rare earth metals we just aren't allowed to mine them because mining rare earth metals produces thorium as a waste byproduct and we classify thorium as a nuclear material even though it is completely inert by itself. Change the regulation and we could compete with China as a rare earth metal exporter.
