TRUMP HOLDS EVENT, HE DECLARES WAR ON LOW PRESSURE SHOWERHEADS
https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-water-pressure-executive-order-showerheads-hair-2025-4

"I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair," he said during remarks in the Oval Office. "You have to stand under a shower for fifteen minutes until it gets wet. It comes out drip drip drip. It's ridiculous."

The next 90 days will be devoted to each country making backroom deals to get their tariffs reduced. On paper it will be 10%, in practice small exemptions will add up. What changes, however, is countries having to sweat fealty to Trump over China, instead of just trying to ride the wave to the multi-polar world. This was not to benefit america economically, this was declaring war on China, the concept of a multi-polar world beyond America, etc. Up to you whether you think it will work or if it is even desirable to prevent the emergence of the multi-polar world. How does BRICS retaliate tomorrow? How does the EU deal with having revealed their true allegiances etc.

Seems pretty clear now with the benefit of hindsight. Vietnam will be rewarded for capitulating, the EU will be punished for putting up a fight (possibly by selectively rewarding individual members and snubbing the organization), and China is forced to start fighting NOW and not continuing the long game they were winning.

Who is Trump's Bao Si?

> King You of Zhou, personal name Ji Gongsheng, was the twelfth king of the Chinese Zhou dynasty and the last of Western Zhou Dynasty. He reigned from 781 to 771 BC. He is traditionally regarded as a fatuous king who brought about the collapse of a dynasty.

> In 779 BC, a concubine named Bao Si entered the palace and came into the King You's favour. She bore him a son named Bofu. King You deposed Queen Shen and Crown Prince Yijiu. He made Baosi the new queen and Bofu the new crown prince.

> In Chinese folklores, it is said that Baosi did not laugh easily. After trying many methods and failing, King You tried to amuse his favorite queen by lighting warning beacons and fooling his nobles into thinking that the Quanrong nomads were about to attack. The nobles arrived at the castle only to find themselves laughed at by Baosi. Even after King You had impressed Baosi, he continued to abuse his use of warning beacons and lost the trust of the nobles.

> Queen Shen's father, the Marquess of Shen, was furious at the deposition of his daughter and grandson Crown Prince Yijiu and mounted an attack on King You's palace with the Quanrong. King You called for his nobles using the previously abused beacons but none came. In the end, King You and Bofu were killed and Baosi was captured.

>Yes, the definition of "vaccine" was updated in 2020. Before 2020, the definition of a vaccine was generally understood as a biological preparation that provides immunity to a specific disease, typically by introducing a weakened or inactivated form of a pathogen, or a piece of the pathogen (like a protein), to stimulate the immune system to recognize and fight the disease if encountered later.

>However, in 2020, as mRNA vaccines, like the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, were developed and authorized for emergency use, the traditional definition of a vaccine was updated to reflect newer technologies.

>Previously, vaccines typically involved using inactivated or weakened versions of pathogens, but mRNA vaccines work by instructing cells to produce a protein similar to that found on the surface of the virus, triggering an immune response. This new approach led to a broader definition to include vaccines that don’t necessarily contain the virus or its weakened form but instead use genetic material (like mRNA) to prompt the body to build immunity.

>In short, the definition of "vaccine" was updated to accommodate these novel technologies, particularly mRNA-based vaccines. The change reflected the evolving science behind vaccine development.

What happens when you have an IgG4 response to a replicating virus? Both in terms of viral evolution in the context of Original Antigenic Sin, and in terms of the actual infection dynamics? What happens to a body constantly flooded with IgG4 antibodies during reinfection, which happens constantly due to kneecapped mucosal immunity?

All of this was predictable due to a lack of PAMPs in the vaccine formula. I do not understand how immunologists are not making a fuss about the explosion in cancer rates etc. when the mechanism was so predictable. Of course we are getting mysterious organ damage and chronically elevated excess deaths For No Reason.

>there are no mucosal cells involved in adaptive responses to intramuscularly or intravenously administered vaccines.
Exactly, which is why people whose first spike exposure was natural infection instead of injection have differing rates of reinfection. There is no mucosal involvement in the mRNA injection. That is a huge problem, and it is currently, today, manifesting as negative efficacy.

>People are constantly flooded with all antibody isotypes,
Yes, but they now specifically have an IgG4 response to a replicating virus. If you suddenly get a huge glut of anti-inflammatory signals while a virus is actively replicating, what happens?

>and original antigenic sin just makes the antibody ineffective against variants of the virus,
Which promotes the immune escape and constant reinfections, each of which is more and more damaging because of the aforementioned anti-inflammatory signaling that allows for increased viral replication in tissue AND interferes with normal immune function such as cancer surveillance.

>and you don't need PAMPs if you have DAMPs.
You absolutely do, to ensure the immune system matches a viral response to a viral antigen and a bacterial response to a bacterial antigen, to avoid the current nightmare scenario of mismatch between pathogen and strategy.

1. Just makes it less effective, this is true of many vaccines due to tolerance at mucosal surfaces
2. IgG4 production is not the normal response, most people's serum is negative via ELISA
3. Original antigenic sin is not unique to vaccines and would occur to the same extent during natural infection. Again, this would make the vaccine less effective, but not dangerous
4. Viral protein encoded by mRNA is a PAMP if you really insist, but no many vaccines use adjuvants like alum which are DAMPs with no inflammatory pathogenic component. DAMPs and PAMPs both act to link antigen with response, and although off-target effects can happen in both cases, this, again, is not specific to the vaccine in any way

>Just makes it less effective, this is true of many vaccines due to tolerance at mucosal surfaces
And if the effectiveness goes down enough to be negative, as in it promotes infection, that is a runaway crisis brewing.

>2. IgG4 production is not the normal response, most people's serum is negative via ELISA
We absolutely see widespread anti-spike IgG4 in the mRNA vaccinated. This has been well documented since 2022.

>3. Original antigenic sin is not unique to vaccines and would occur to the same extent during natural infection. Again, this would make the vaccine less effective, but not dangerous
During natural infection, antibodies would be deployed against multiple epitopes on multiple antigens. In the mRNA vaccine, everything is deployed against spike alone. This made it significantly advantageous for the virus to vary its spike protein specifically, causing the absurd infectivity of Omicron.

No, "hybrid immunity" does not solve this.

>4. Viral protein encoded by mRNA is a PAMP if you really insist, but no many vaccines use adjuvants like alum which are DAMPs with no inflammatory pathogenic component.
Because if you have other viral debris presented alongside target antigen, those already act as PAMPs. The mRNA alone presents spike along self-antigens instead of other known viral peptide sequences, which of course is going to either lead to auto-immunity or an IgG4 response.

This is genuinely a catastrophe. No wonder excess deaths remain "mysterious."

it ain't about hate even. it's about risk calculation. whether EU hates or loves US isn't really a factor if EU perceives reliance on US as dangerous (in terms of security even existentially so). feelings can change like a weather vane. but the risk of tying your fate to american voters every four years after they've shown they'll let... this happen? we've gone beyond were feelings matter, which is why this rift will not be repaired in four years or eight years or a decade. de-risking from the US is the new reality.

When it comes to weapons specifically this is going trigger a shift in the type of american weapons being purchased by euros, but not neccesarily a drop in export volume.
If you want to profit from the US MIC in the future you should invest in forms making weapons that will keep working even if the US cuts you off, like shells, bullets and explosives, while avoiding companies that produce weapons which leaves the operator dependant on US support for stuff like spare parts and software updates
This is because while Americas allies have good reason not to trust her anymore, the sheer scale of US materiel production is impossible to ignore and demand for weapons ammo is through the fucking roof

Just as likely he's lying to cover for backflipping over the economic hit after running his mouth about "not watching the stock market"

Only thing is how costly it is. No way Russia is ahead, or US in the camel wars.
That said I bought a Russian goldmine and RSX thinking Putin couldn’t be this dumb, while my buddy bought Lockheed. So my opinion on this topic means nothing.

good point, i agree with that to a degree, but:
1) as i see it, the push towards strategic independence will also mean independence (or more precisely, de-risking until US leverage is negligible) in manufacture of dumb munitions and such.
2) this will still fuck over the US MIC quite badly, because the model of fronting expensive development costs and then recouping via economy of scale by selling to NATO partners (F-35 for example) won't work nearly as well anymore.
IMO it's bad news for the US, but exports will still happen in that form as you say.

we've had 10% on everything besides USMCA goods since saturday, and 125% on China. That's no joke. it's just that he proposed these massive "reciprocal" tariffs that 10% seems like nothing now, but the delusion will wear off

Good luck on your endeavors, the trips seem to indicate sonething nice is waiting for you haha.
What is happening is indeed unprecedented, I've never read of anything like this even in the wildest chapters of history. Okay sometimes there have been wars and ideological battles, but this wild boozin' and cruizing global market tariff shitshow and all the political elements moving in the background in preparation for potential escalating events is something else. And it's captured live in 4K for us to see.

The biggest pumps always happen during recessions. We are still lower than where were on 4/2. This volatility isn't normal at all. I still think there's a lot more escalation to happen with the china trade war before someone blinks, especially as much of congress is china hawks and support this. But, as today shows, all it takes is some turbulence in the bond market and trump folds lol.
>>
>>60223603
You are correct about strategic autonomy incentivising local production of shells but Ukraine (just like literally every other high intensity war for the last 115 years) has proven once again that there is no upper limit to shell consumption during war, so the goal now is both to maximise shell production at home AND buy as many shells as possible from abroad. Because everyone is trying to refill and then grow thier stockpiles at the same time as everyone else is trying to buy more shells for Ukraine demand is going to remain well in excess of supply for as long as the war lasts and then some time afterwards.
The reason this is happening is because of how incredibly scalable the throw weight of gun based artillery is - not for nothing is it still hailed as the King of Battle to this very day.
If your army is receiving ten million shells per day then your big guns are capable of firing ten million shells per day and your troops on the front line will objectively benefit from receiving that level of fire support, which incentivised using the maximum amount of shells your logistics network can sustain.
The only limiting factor beyond shell availability is replacement barrels, which are another standardised component worth investing in if you want to put your money in the US MIC

from the video it talked about how chinese generals are currently disappearing at a fast pace, as tho there is a hurge purge going on. Also they mentioned that despite all the supposedly strict Chinese government controls their military is rife with corruption, side hustles, selling of technology and weapons, and a lot of leaks of information. For over 10 years now they are having huge problems with this and that is resulting on a fairly big purge going on.

those were against steel/aluminum. and no, they haven't. they're not softening their stance. it's the opposite, they've said they'd go ahead with tech fines and not cut any special deals:

again, i mostly agree. but as i see it, the war in UA is one between two very artillery-centric near-peer armies. i think you might be over-fitting your expectation of a future war based on circumstances that are unique to it -- if EU ends up fighting RU, i am not sure it would look all the same (genuinely; i am not sure, i'm not saying you're wrong).
in the end the strikes that artillery usually is tasked with can also be fulfilled by other systems (we see this with UA using FPV drones to great effect). but regardless, EU is for sure looking to stockpile shells. so i do wholeheartedly agree US artillery shells as export are going to stay and be of importance if Europe finds itself in a hot war.
on a side-note, i've read just today that EU deliveries of shells to UA now exceed US deliveries.

I cannot envision a scenario where SPY does not drop to 400 this year.

In all honesty, I'm not touching stocks until then. Sure we had a fun week but outside of this tariff stuff, the economy is actually fucked. I think that is going over most people's head, their focus is on the tariffs alone, and not the other 13 things that are going to push stocks down over the next months.

Reminder that we are only down 10% from ATHs and are leading into a recessional macro environment. I'm not buying at these prices, you'd have to be a short term trader or a retail buffoon to go LONG at this point in time.

20% of my portfolio is invested in SPY, but I'm not buying at these levels, there's no point, zoom out on the chart, we barely entered a mild price correction which is not aligned with what we're seeing and feeling in the global market right now.

Old M8 Xingers has a bit of a strategic catch 22 to navigate when it comes to Tiawan
If he attacks Tiawan and the US at the same time he can leverage the element of surprise to significantly degrade US capability in the pacific during the critical early stages of the war, but at the cost of garaunteeing US involvement in the conflict
If he just attacks Taiwan, he has a theoretical shot at keeping the US out of the war but at the cost of leaving all of their extremely dangerous and strategically located pacific capability ready and intact should they later decide to intervene
I honestly don't know which is the better option and I'd bet money the red princeling doesn't know either

Take it from me friend, the shell hunger has happened every time without exception., there was a shell shortage on both sides in 2003 and that war only lasted like 5 weeks
It's an actual meme among military economists and planners because they keep telling governments to build more shells and governments keep telling them no until a war starts and they're suddenly all "woe is us, we don't have enough shells"

You should learn to read English before responding to me. My post says exactly that. China produces all of these things that the world buys and in return they buy nothing from you.
