My boss, who has a long history of getting big fat paychecks but always being penniless, asked the junior trainee at work about crypto and other investments today.

The good news is that he did not ask me because I am not good at lying. It's good to know I am flying under the radar. Maybe he thinks I'm a poorfag though surely he must realize I make a lot more than I'm spending.
The bad news is... sign of the top?

Europe will rapidly improve socially and politically over the 2030s while America deteriorates into a technocratic hypermongrelized nightmare. The former will become a much more attractive place for high skill highly educated Whites who want to have families once they expel the brown hordes (literally happening as we speak), and muttmerica will experience brain drain that renders it unable to innovate or even maintain its complex infrastructure while Europe has its own quiet tech boom through the 40s. Invest accordingly.

Many dozens of these multiple times a week in dozens of towns all over the UK nowadays. Ireland is the same way
The simple fact is that globohomo barely invests much at all into wrecking europe aside from funding NGOs because theres relatively little value in doing so compared to america, which ironically gives it a very high chance of overthrowing their neolib overlords. UK and Euros have not only developed a racial collective political consciousness but are outright getting violent in order to secure their ethnic interests. And it's only the beginning. Meanwhile the best the american right can do is thiel-funded post-christian vitalist technopederasty fueled by another billion pajeets.

Tax payers work and give their money to the 'government' and royal family while the royal family lives at the expense of the peasants. If the 'royal family' can be regulated by the government let the government tax the royal family and take away some of their castles to house brown immigrants. UK peasants should throw out the current royals and replace them with brown kang and queens to make their transformation complete

Is it worth switching to equal weight S&P ETFs? Expense ratios are a lot higher for them though. I don’t feel comfortable that basically half of the weighted S&P 500 ETFs stems from a handful of insanely overvalued companies. Might start buying a small cap fund.

you can see what stocks are held in the ETF, and at what %. You can evaluate the sectors and stocks and just pick the stocks you want and essentially make your own ETF which manage.

$USD is loaded with $NVDA and $AVGO so i'd buy that ETF instead of the individual stocks.

Just as real estate will appreciate over time with inflation and population growth, any real business will also grow over time and appreciate. Just don't buy a business for like a $200m market cap when there's a comparable thats almost identical if not better being valued at a $100m market cap. The same way you wouldn't buy a $200k house when theres an almost identical house next to it that's only $100k, and a good company doesnt mean good stock if it's already expensive since everyone knows about it and bought it up

i'm a true believer in keynesian econmics. credit cards are already free money for poor people and so is klarna. once they see it makes numbers go up in novel ways it'll get bought up by big tech. the american consumer is legendary and klarna will normalize that level of consumerism in more markets.
>>
>>60888448
I saw it too late, too steep a run last two weeks, I'll wait for consolidation
>>
>>60888452
But there's no credit limit, so people can take out thousands of dollars of unsecured loans and then just not pay because they have no assets to seize.
>>
>>60888468
student loans are also bullshit predatory debt and they're never going away. same with klarna and credit cards. bailouts are already priced in mostly via inflation. consumers have low tolerance to discomfort and boredom so they will keep spending forever. it's just about getting them the most available money to participate in the system with and klarna helps and expands that.
>>
>>60888452
>allowing loads of people to take out loans they won’t be able to afford and will eventually default on

>WASHINGTON, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Walt Disney (DIS.N), opens new tab will pay $10 million to settle U.S. Federal Trade Commission allegations that the company unlawfully allowed personal data to be collected from children who viewed kid-directed videos on YouTube without notifying parents or obtaining their consent, the FTC said on Tuesday.
Axios was the first to report the settlement that was also confirmed by a Disney spokesperson.

>The FTC had alleged that Disney did not designate some YouTube videos as being made for children when they were added to the platform.
>The U.S. complaint said the mislabeling allowed Disney, through YouTube, to collect personal data from viewers of child-directed videos who were under age 13 and use that data for targeted advertising to children.
>The complaint had alleged that Disney violated the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule.

>The rule requires websites, apps and other online services that are directed to children under 13 to notify parents about what personal information they collect, and obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting such information, according to the FTC.

Would the govt intervene if Klarna or another lender went tits up? Honestly I love the subtle dystopia and predation of it, I just dont completely grasp their risk model
I can see myself treating it as a forever stock, if it doesnt implode. The AI layer on it is probably going to track consumer spending habits and be a super ad data goldmine. Thats probably their real alpha

I've seen some newsarticle headline and it came off as if they're trying to push it off as some tech company. I (EU) know it only as a company for credit when paying something alongside Paypal and others. No clue if they got something else at the side going or they label it as Tech because of data, but that's shady to me.
>>
>>60888601
Yeah it's not the only BNPL company. It getting regulated into irrelevance also seems pretty likely, now that you mention it. Like Uber it seems to be surviving by skirting the regulations of a more established industry, while simultaneously burning through venture capital welfare.
>>
>>60888564
they'll always intervene on that stuff. poor people will get their gibs. it's not politically viable to starve and cut off poor people when there's a working money printer. even in the poorest shit holes the money printer keeps going they just have higher interest rates and print even more money. they won't need a bailout though since it's a system that will make tons of money and get easily carried by inflation anyways. any bailout will be a piddly couple billion. total nothing burger.

I simply don't use it because I have Paypal. For me it's just another, possibly more expensive Paypal. Paypal also has buy now pay later and I think also some financing alternatives. Maybe Klarna is cheaper, but I don't need it. What I've seen is that it is more advertised in shops as a financing solution iirc.

Yes, their business model is to court people who are too poor to buy a burrito into financing that burrito. If the burrito payments are made on time they are interest-free and Klarna's only profit for taking on the risk of the loan is a small fee from the merchant. If they are late on the loan, Klarna now has to collect a debt from someone who was too poor to pay for a burrito on a credit card. They are their own debt collector (the founder was originally a debt collector) but I have no idea if that is good or bad. I assume there's a reason most companies sell bad debt to companies that specialize in collections.

Statistically speaking you are highly likely to lose at buying into an IPO at launch. Like…80% or something like that IIRC goes to the house and you become an immediate baggie. Personally, Klarna looks interesting but not at an initial ask of $31 to $38 BUT a review a few weeks before Black Friday when all the consooooomers reactivate for the holiday season.

I still have 340 shares that I will not sell, I am up 15k€ at the moment.

It's not even purely because of the chinese (I'd say there are atleast as many teslas as any other chinese EV in germany), its just that EV are horrendously overpriced, and they have not been popular to begin with. Back then a Porsche meant something, today its just another plastic electric toy car, that lost all its aura.

bond yields are still too low. Who the fuck would accept less than ~7% with this growing default risk and threat of the money printers rebooting? I wouldn't even think of touch the us govt's junk bonds at <5%.

You're reading it wrong, it's not bonds that are too low, it's stocks that are too high.

Its a delicate balance, the cown delegates all of its political power to parliament and in exchange parliament doesn't fuck with the crown
The last time either side tried messing with the other it lead to a decade of civil war

Greggs is such an easy play. Undervalued, dividend paying and coming into the cold months where they do most of their business. They’re recession proof as they’re cheap and they’re having business rates lowered in shops worth less than £500,000 which is most of them.

>Luv gains
>Luv me Greggs
>Hate Starmer

How does 3x work?
I bought rock yesterday but my gains/losses show in the stock as if it’s 1x.
When does the 3x come in to play?
