>Despite sporting a market capitalization well in excess of $2 billion, BBAI did less than $153 million in revenue over the past year...and lost nearly three times that amount: $444 million. It's also hardly growing sales at all. Trailing revenue of $152.6 million is up less than 5% since 2021, putting the company's sales growth rate at a meager 1%.
>The only thing growing at this start-up is losses. Trailing-12-month losses are more than 3.5 times as bad as what the company lost in 2021

>Markets are now all but certain that the U.S. central bank will slash borrowing costs by at least 25 basis points at the end of its latest policy gathering on Wednesday, while there is also an outside chance of a deeper half-point drawdown. The rate-setting Federal Open Market Committee will begin its two-day meeting today.
"The Fed meeting, in our view, is likely to pass without a major, market-moving surprise," the Barclays analysts wrote.
Heading into the meeting, they backed an "overweight" stance on risk assets despite equities having recently notched fresh record peaks. They argued that there is no "near-term catalyst" to dislodge the effect of a combination of Fed rate cuts and enthusiasm over artificial intelligence on investor sentiment.

I've been feeling a little proud of myself for saving and investing huge amounts every year while still driving my 2003 Corolla ol reliable shitbox
But on Monday I was stopped at a traffic light and some retard was speeding and couldn't brake on time, he just barely slid next to me and then spun in front of me trying to stop. He could have easily crashed into me from behind.
I saw him braking in my mirror but I just froze. I don't know if there was enough time for me to get out of the way but I didn't even try.

Long story short, I'm getting a new car. Maybe something SUV-like so that it's big and heavy. Weight wins.

My mind says that a "car crash" is coming, the Chinese EV makers will drive this market to the ground worldwide and cars should be dirt cheap very soon.
But there's not even hints of it happening other than automakers starting to lose more and more money and China cracking down on excessive discounts and price competition.

She can still lose her pension if the pension fund goes broke. It happens. You neve know what fucking retard is making descions in the pension fund investments. Its aways better to live within your means, invest wisely and grow your funds and you can increase your standard of living. I recommend one year, six months if you must, 3 is just not enough because of reasons.

This is probably a retarded idea, but if we have institutions like the federal resever that are kept somewhat separate from the government to be less driven by electoral politics, surely we could set up something similar for some sort of anti-corruption and anti-tax waste organisations.

I also sold during April, not all of it I just sold about 35% of my portfolio which was allocated into something I didn't like anymore and had been thinking of selling for a long time by that point.

I had no conviction in that specific stock and that doesn't help when the market crashes. I kept my index funds and bitcoin untouched, and now that's all I own. Conviction is important.

If I had gone back in lumpsum I'd be fine but I thought I'd go in slowly and DCA back in monthly. That was a mistake but I felt better about it.

sometimes you get a soft landing (1984, 1995) but they're rare and only tend to happen if unemployment is falling and yield curves are more normal - neither are the case today
because while cuts are stimulative in a vacuum, the fed only tends to use them when worsening unemployment and/or the broader economy are at higher risk than rising inflation is
very possible this time they've backed themselves into a corner after their retarded excessive covid stimulus and we get stagflation where everyone loses

>>
Oh yeah, to the anon who was interested in AMGN. The mechanism which underpins how Tezpire works is misunderstood, it's actually a far more effective blocker of type two immune function and therefor asthma than they initially credit it for, and I've been keeping an eye on clinical trials and it blocks all endotypes of severe asthma very effectively. Asthma is very common in rich countries and especially millennials, it will probably make megabucks if you hold for a few years until it passes phase IV in the USA, and they don't have their lunch stolen a la Novo

Today was a busy day at work, so I couldn't do much but sell puts that I bought the previous day. Profitable, but could have done better. Looked at the prices here and there on a number of stocks, but couldn't find any deals worth it. Hoping I'll see some value tomorrow morning. I don't expect the (25 basis) cut to cause a massive rally. Bond market is already prepared for it. Most institutions seemed to lock their positions Monday.

I think there's a case for Powell maintaining his wait and see position, given that inflation keeps going-up whereas jobs growth is slow rather than straight-up negative. Barr, being a pussy, is probably going to receive a chiding black woman lecture from Cook and vote no to atone for his privilege. assuming eveyone else goes how they lean, you'll have 5 yes votes, 6 no votes, and 1 neutral. Williams will decide whether there will be an outright majority for no rate cuts, or a draw. Not entirely sure what the procedure usually is for the latter scenario, but i'd guess it involves debate before they recast their votes. That means the nos will need a defector from the yeses, and if political biases and desire to reassert FED independence carry the day, then I think Goolsbee will be that defector (if he even votes yes in the first place, the guy was on the Colbert report for fuck's sake). I think there's definitely a stronger case for steady rates then most people think. Then again, it's usually not good to bet against the market, so i'm probably completely wrong.

Historically, when the Fed raises rates, they hold they sideways, and the market rallies sharply when they get cut.

Within about 1 year after the 10Y-2Y uninverts, that's when the recession hits and we get tanked on the SPY. This also seems to line up well with the 2026 top that Benner Cycles predict.

Y'all niggas need to go long (ideally with a bit of leverage) and enjoy the ride up

Biz retards definitely know more than the people at fedwatch for sure
>>
>>60950059
"people at fedwatch" are fed funds futures traders but yeah you're right
they're never wrong because the fed doesn't want to upset the market
>>
>>60950059
They don't think like us though and sometimes when everyone says go this direction, maybe the best way to make money is going the way they aren't going.
>>
Logically it should crab until the rate decision and keynotes are released. That said I'm hoping it drops in the morning, so I can slurp.

My sister and a few of my friends were engineers at elbit at one time or another and they all complained about the management. Supposedly they are very poorly run.
>>60948682
I just want to be rich enough to negotiate a bulk rate from a few escorts.
>>
wow this company is making more revenues and eps tha ai dashcams but it's only a 33m market cap while ai dashcams is 180m market cap,
whats the catch

>volume was 6k
o lol
i guess only poorfags can buy it because anyone else buying more than 4-figs at once will pump it up +10% on their own

I love how everyone memory holed that Powell got us into this mess in the first place by printing so much during covid to the point where the money supply doubled.
Then he did little tiny rate hikes that did nothing
Now he's gonna do little tiny rate cuts that will do nothing
Fucking pussy.
Implying the fed has the economies best interest in mind when they paid literal trillions to bail out the cancerous MBS derivative kikes.
The utter shitshow that is the current housing market is all their fault too.

I think the issue with BRM isn't the fundamentals. Balance sheet is fine. The issue is visible when you bring up a 20 year chart. I'm looking at a chart from 2005 to now. Clearly investing in it is a joke.

the 10y-2y uninversion was almost exactly one year ago anon
>>

don't be so rude
>>
>>60950152
I blame him for being late to raising rates, the money printing is completely on the federal government though. All the Fed SPV’s from Covid have been wound down already and they’ve cut 2 trillion off their books.
>>
>>60950109
im not too excited about paying high fees for a stock with a huge currency risk
>>
>>60950153
i dont really get that view
the same can be said for a lot of companies that suddenly start getting an inflection, even AMD was guilty of that, with smallcaps that can change so suddenly, they might not be the same company they were 5 years ago like with ai dashcams shifting from a boring camera manufacturer 20+ years suddenly into ai dashcams with growing PaaS revenue
the opposite is true too, a giant can suddenly start declining desptie its 20 years of performance

honestly i do get a bad feeling with BRM, watching a CEO interview right now, but the 20-year chart is meaningless to me for companeis <$50m marketcap
they have great financials but lumpy and potentially not consistent (can drop back down) and i cannot identify a plan or roadmap or confidence into changing out of lumpiness (like how ai dashcam turned their hardware lumpy revenue into setting up a data center and PaaS revenue to smooth out lumpiness etc)
>>
>>60950163
problem is that the fed spent trillions to buy that shit instead of letting it fail. biggest mistake of a government is offering any sort of monetary aid for housing. it will instantly pump prices that much

tariffs? they do have a US subsidiary, well actualyl a lot of leaf companies may as well be US company, like 80% of ai dashcams' revenue is from their US subsidiary lmao while they keep R&D cheaper by keep that on the canada side (instead of paying software engineers US$150K or whatever the fk you guys charge in the US, they get to pay only CAD$90k or something and cucknada is hpapy with that
>>
ah theres the problem it's a mature industry, 10% growth rate is considered amazing for this industry
>>

Not a trader. Never sold anything.
>>
>>60950180
What has this company been doing for 20 years? A 20 year penny stock. If you think you found a gold nugget, well I bet you so did an investor 15 years ago. You will not make money. But hey prove me wrong, but it better be really good proofs.

im digging for more i think there's easier plays than this
but that kind of thinking will stop you from hitting opportunities

it made me miss out on Intermap because of being biased on past performance when there were enoug hints to demonstrate they were hitting an inflection point
look at its 20 year but also look at how its past 5 years (new management focused on turnaround, and ai technology become amazing for it because glorified autocomplete or really just recent technology overall for these kind of geography scanning companies is obviously a huge boon

during these times when SPY/QQQ is so expensive "fully valued" already, and you cant just stay bearish 100% cash (tho i do have 20% cash right now) because of currency devaluations.. and gold/bitcoin already going up a lot .. welll you have to be open to more things

but if u zoom into 5 years i had this in my radar and it looked like it was mooning back then coz of some big news

and whatever they were before 2020 becomes irrelevant

Meanwhile
>you want us to spend 5 billion to bail out student loans?
>The ones the goiym can't clear via bankruptcy?
>there's 3 generations of Americans stuck in paycheck to paycheck hell and the 2030s will be an economic disaster in every single sector?
Are you crazy???? Why should I pay for your loan?!!! That will cause inflation!

and that past 20 years wasnt unnecessarilly useless, it's a boon to anyone who was buying 2024 because it set the foundations for them to be in a niche industry with big barriers (20+ years foundation) for anyone else to get in
