Today I learned that 'rare earths' are not rare at all, they're just dispersed and not concentrated. Finding them in sufficient quantities means mining the entire landscape, then refining them needs tons of acid and leaves behind toxic and radioactive waste.The reasons we don't do it are environmental, mainly.But I also learned that they exist in concentrated forms on the moon. Really no reason why tech companies should base their survival on China's whims or NIMBY environmentalism when they can just throw money at SpaceX to make the colonization of the moon a reality. I want to be able to pic a ticker, choose how man strikes I want to see for say 3,4,5 expiry dates (all close maybe 5-6 weeks out only), then be able to have my own calcualted columns where I see the change in premium difference. See pic, yellow box. Yes, I know it keeps generally increasing the higher you go but its the bigger increase closer to the strike that I am interested in. The two green columns are my computed columns and I would like to be able to do some custom calcualtions (like you can do with PowerBI and Excel). The delta$ shown is not that much, but I have seen some that are more significant. For my own enterainment I am trying to make something like this for myself using the Schwab API but I am not a programmer and it may be too much for me. I wanted to pull down the options data into Excel or PowerBI then calculated columns would be easy. If this is fucking retarded let me know why you think so.

I was starting with one ticker so see if I could get it working, the possible repeat for two, maybe three tickers but not more, I am more focused on options for a few stocks I like. I select ticker, number of expiry dates (no more than five weekly consecutive dates, maybe 10 strikes (three ITM, 7 OTM), and the best opportunity as defefined by my calculated columns appears for that expiry. So if the number of fix expiration dates is selected, there are only five strikes shown, one for each expiration date, and the strikes shown the best premiums. I would expect at some point, 1 seond, 1 minute it updates stock price and options premiums change.
