they benefit from exchanging oil for cash. depending on how much cash they need how quickly can effect how rapidly they do that. also it would shake up the oil market, those countries would fight for market share in the new export points. it is a massive increase of supply. i very much doubt any of those countries listed would be interested in holding product back product. the events playing out are not conducive to more discipline from exporters, just the opposite.

My plan is to save and invest 2,000€ per month.
In 2024 I managed to do the full 24,000€.
In 2025 I only managed 22,000€.

In early 2025, I didn't feel like putting the money in straight away because I thought it was bubbly. Then the tariffs crash happened and I got cold feet instead of going all in. I underperformed the market because I got in slowly throughout the second half of the year.

In 2026 I'm not making that mistake, I'm going all in straight away. I'm done timing the market, just lumpsum it into my index funds and see you next year.

It's an election year and yet the US sees such a massive oil glut that it doesn't mind messing with major oil producers.

The fact that they see this as the best time to move shows you how bad the oil market is going to be this year. Huge mismatch between production and lack of demand. But oil traders have already been talking about this.

Big winners in an oil glut:
- Refineries
- Crude tanker owners if contango and floating storage come into play
- Airlines
- Chemical companies - this is a big one as they've been doing shit lately. Check Dow Chemicals. I'm thinking of going in.
- Consumer spending. Cheap oil is like a stimmy. Consumer Staples ETFs have been doing shit for 5 years, maybe it's time.

Its the refinement process. Cheap crude is one thing but cheap gas and kerosene is a different animal. The other thing to look at is what the oil is used for, as transport is going electric the do still need lubricant but not as much refined fuel but will need oil for power plants that can burn less refined oil.
Its kind of a give and a take, but using the WTI for more fuel processing while shipping out the high sulfur for oil plants means cheaper transport and less energy input for refineries.

Granted, this may be wrong. Im a nuclear guy, not an oil and gas guy.

CCJ and UUUU are good holds long term (5 yr or so), I would add in producers and refiners like OKLO, LEU, UEC, and NXE as well as transmission suppliers like D and NEE.
If you want more risk, you can find some of the companies that run mining in Africa but I dont have as much info on those handy.

Brookfield is a massive company with their hands in just about every industry across the planet. They are one of my biggest holdings, but I would never buy them for one specific area of interest.. You can buy their subsidiaries directly, I believe Brookfield Renewables is their "energy" company. But you should know that they routinely move money and assets from one subsidiary to another and eventually to the mothership company which has implications for the share price that are largely unpredictable for a retail investor.

They are a good business with a pretty strong track record and good leadership, but their company structure is a sight to behold.

Fair enough, I haven't read much into them other than the article and glossing over some basics. I saw that they were doing the opposite vertical integration of everyone else and figured it would be a better long term option than say Oracle who has the datacenter expertise but cant supply the power and cooling.
Its one of the reasons I am long on nuclear is from my time on a sub so I now a decent amount of what it takes to have the specialist and resources need to make that work ( like the idea of using old sub reactors to power datacenters, but it wouldnt work due to cooling that is already an issue for just the chips). So im still a newbie looking at the actual books of a company.
Its a learning process and im here for it. Im just putting out what I know and I am always happy to learn what I dont know. All I know is that I know nothing.

I personally want to see QUBT succeed. If quantum entanglement can be used for networks it would replace the transatlantic and pacific cables in a week as well as data transmission for space without the delay that current radio transmission has.
ASSUMING they can get it to work, its the easiest and most compelling use case of all the quant stocks available.

>Venezuela oil production opening up
Venezuela was already shipping 600,000 bpd to chevron's refinery in the US. The attack is to gain control of the rest of the oil production and an attack on BRICS. Russia and China did nothing but complian. The new US controlled oil reserves will be used as collaterall for $100 trillion in new fiat currency. The US was that desperate for new collateral that shitty heavy Venezuela crude was good enough.

Not until there is AGI, which at this point is a meme. LLMs can only use our current understanding and data (in the best of cases) to make decision we would already come to faster. Until it can come up with a new idea given the tools but not the observational data we give it to digest, it will speed things up, but reliance on it is a fools errand. Quantum is a completely new field we are still discovering, but from a business perspective, it would be like buying a uranium mine in 1922.

"Fair value" of crude oil, after years of rampant inflation and decades of currency expansion, would nowadays be somewhere between $150 and $200, I'd guess.
But, no. It is evident that oil producers and oil nations HAPPILY part with their finite product for less and less compensation over time.

The only transport than can be reliably electrified and be equivalent to/more efficient than ICEs are vehicles that travel on set pathways, that you can put wires up to power.

Sure, but all those are diesel/electric so still, in my terms ICE. I get what you are saying, its momentum vs stop start usage of mass transfer but I think the solid state batteries that Samsung are working on are the next step and if it can provide the charge/discharge rate without the wear down that current LI batteries have it could be a game changer.

>>61585485
I would go into manufacturing metals (silver, copper, lithium, etc) or Uranium.
If you want something shorter term, data center adjacent like CRDO or ASTS, UI or PI and RCAT.
MU is a good choice, despite the recent gains but I would wait for a blow off top below 300. Same with AVGO.

Honestly in the 2-5 year span, I would go with something on either side of NVDA, either on the material supply side, or the usage side like software or manufacturing that will use LLMs for a material advantage vs the soft side like advertising.
Tech is still the power house in this market but trying to get in on something like TSLA or NVDA will get some gains, but the speculation will burn you out.

perhaps I should have said a longer time span, I didn't knew tech still has this roof of 5 years to keep being on top. I don't mean to be "early" on things because if was that easy then everyone would do it, but i'm looking more for an opportunity than a squeeze.
I had invested on PM last year, miners and paper, sold all the paper on this boom because I don't wanna risk it, I have take the profits and bought some physical + re-invest on other papers.
My eyes are con Toyota, PSX, MELI and BNG, also bought some small amount of MSTR because I think it would be fun if saylor became more rich than bezos or zuckerberg, it's just to see what happens.
But anyways, i'm honestly thankful for your analysis and tickers, I'm surely will be buying some of them and adding it to my Watchlist. Thanks anon!

I see what you mean.
Im not looking at squeeze either, I think the ones I listed would be a good 5yr hold with little risk. Granted, /smg/ will tell you my risk apatite is insane (it is).
I will say longer term. I would go hard into nuclear, CCJ, D, UUUU, etc. There is plenty of stuff to go low and slow like BK and VOO that will take up exposure to this, so if you want to go beyond 5yrs Index is always the way to go with minimal risk. However, I see the tech and energy sector being the biggest winners in the current information/compute war that is happening.

Short American oil stocks.
According to the news, it seems that Trump and Rubio made some sort of deal with the vice president of Venezuela, allowing her to lead the country after Maduro and open the doors to oil companies. Yet now she claims that Maduro is the only president and that they will fight to the end, meaning she betrayed them.
This likely means the war will drag on longer, and all the stocks that Trump’s allies had been buying preemptively won’t rise. Instead, they’ll be selling 'em like crazy.

So being at or close the money and having a gap up they will trade at an added premium due to gamma, theta decay is basically negligible this far out and will only become really noticeable 1.5-1 month from expiration. Theta is the time component of the premium, basically more time before expiration means more chance for the underlying to have a large move and theta is how that chance is priced in

She did it for her safety. Even if it's very small chance girls can be hyper sensitive to danger like getting jumped and raped so they try to minimize the risk as much as possible.

Physically escalate. If she's repeatedly not open to things like light touch etc. just move on. Can also mean she needs more time to warm up to you and/or you tried to isolate her too soon and you need to spend more time in group setting first.

Also the reason I say theta can be somewhat disregarded here is the math behind options pricing combines time remaining with implied volatility and XOM is historically not a very volatile stock, so a large move was not really priced in for what you paid thus those contracts should print

>Especially when SpaceX will serve the same niche.
ASTS already owns the space, has the technology and the patents, will be providing service two years ahead of SpaceX. Elon himself said current handsets cannot use the spectrum he just bought and it will take two years to design, build, then sell the handsets, and SpaceX/Starlink want to compete against ASTS and all the cell providers partnered with ASTS. I doubt SpaceX/Starlink can crack that nut given a two year lag and the competition. If the ASTS system does not work, or Starlink is better then maybe but not for years.

>>61586153
>The crowd seems to think satellite phones will become mainstream
This is the mistake most people are making, with ASTS you do not need a satellite phone, the cell phone in your hand now will work just fine, and that is what makes this tech a winner. I have a satellite phone, its big, clunky an slow, cant wait to get rid of it and just use my current celly.

"Our BlueBird satellites provide full broadband directly to standard smartphones without specialized hardware or phone modifications.Make video calls, browse the web, and use your apps at 4G and 5G speeds from anywhere on Earth."

With or without ASTS you will still lose service if you are out of cell tower coverage with a regular phone, no?

>>

Starlink cannot direct to cell now, soonest is 2 years. ASTS service is supposed to start late this year.......if they launch their fing sats already and start making money.
>>
>>61586366
gold did not do shit for years while you can 10x your money with stocks any year.

So basically the only difference between Starlink and ASTS is frequency license? Cause I'm pretty sure Starlink sats are at the edge of where atmospheric drag starts being a significant issue. Is there really a technological edge?

Can anyone dispute silver's trajectory?
https://youtu.be/0pnKBkhbxtY?si
>>
>>61586420
Houses are only down 30% in silver since 1968, but down 80% in gold since 1968.
Silver is kind of weak to gold
>>
>>61586399
>>61586411
I was confused, hadn't looked into the company and thought the hype was from the iPhone launch talking about satphone capability. If they can somehow blast standard 4G from space that is indeed a game changer
>>
>>61586388
>only difference between Starlink and ASTS is frequency license?
No, technology, patents, partnerships (with existing cell providers all over the world) and first position status. ASTS sats are much larger in higher orbits. Starlink needs to design, build, and launch new satellites for direct sat to cell phone service. The big news was Stralink bought spectrum for echostar, but a few months earlier ATT bought spectrum from echostar as well, and ATT already invested in ASTS. The big cell companies around the world already partnered with ASTS, except for Tmobile who signed a deal with Starlink for some reason. The current Starlink Tmobile capability is really limited and slow whereas ASTS can do video.
>>
>>61586424
the gsr is the reason to invest in silver. 300/oz is a fair value for silver historically speaking
>>
>>61586428
>I was confused,
take your time and do your research and see if its something you are interested in. You just missed a $10 spike, its still volatile so expect it the price to keep fluctuating based on sat launch schedules. If you are interested in buying buy the dips

What if the real alpha in satellites is ...Echostar?!1

people have been saying that for how long? as long as people need dollars and not silver to buy everyday things it won't matter (no, the dollar is not going to collapse in 2 weeks)
>>
Which Oil do I buy on money now that we Freedom'd Venezuela
>>
>>61586461
>What if the real alpha in satellites is ...Echostar?!1
it was a dying company and only spectrum sale to SpaceX helped the price. If I recall correctly a large part of the deal was SpaceX stock plus cash, so if SpaceX goes public and the stock goes ballistic then Echostar will be worth a lot of money, but they have been sellng off their spectrum so I am not sure what service they are going to provide for revenue. Is there any alpha left? I dont see it but maybe someone can explain it if there is.
>>
>>61586464
nothing will collapse the dollar but there's a demand glut in silver alongside the low gsr. I'm bullish on silver for the next 6 months at least for non-schizo reasons

Micron is also ramping up production as well. I don't see how SK Hynix and Samsung can take significant market share from Micron. Right now their price are following each other.
Chink suppliers can't compete due to substandard production quality as well. So I'm really not sure how they'll lose marketshare in the next 3-5 yrs. Maybe I'm wrong tho. Any thoughts?

Go back to April 2024 and buy 10,000 shares.
Generational wealth? depends how much you have now. I am just looking for a fat return on my investment, to set me up for investment money for the next runner. Generational wealth can be one giant pay off, or enough of a return to wisely invest for the next 30 years (depending on age) to still make generational wealth. Only have 2,000 shares now. I wish I had 3,000 but I am not going to chase it, I am too conservative. maybe I will buy a few leaps

I actually believe that Grok on Twitter consumes my RAM. I'm no Tech-guy and I don't care, but most of my RAM is being occupied. The markets are closed, I only got one Tab of my Broker open, unlike during market hours 4-5 or more. I closed youtube tabs, I close other tabs, and the RAM is still full. It has to be the fuckin grok chat saved in the background.
Mind you, I'm not chatting with Grok. I use it to be more historically correctly racist.

Rebooting doesn't help when I reopen the closed tabs. Only using tools like CCleaner (no advertisement) or others breaks down the RAM use.

Tell me if I'm wrong.

I finished factorio and can confirm some planets have infinite oil. Now imagine giant space ships transporting this oil back to earth.
What company would be most likely to profit from this scenario?

ET wont do much until their pipeline is finished and operating late this year, but still paying nice divy. HAL waits until upstream invests in upgrading/expandign current operations and if oil price is low upstream may wait or go slow. Shell and XOM doing well and making money. Consider adding some EC on dips for the fat divy.
