I was trying to trim some fat from my portfolio and I don’t even remember when or why I bought a couple hundred dollars worth of SOLS.

So Oracle, Iren, CoreWeave, Nebius now are going to spend billions on the new Nvidia chip after they've just spent billions on blackwell and their H100 and H200 are now worth less, now what happens in 2027 when Nvidia releases another chip that they need to spend billions on? Plus other chips from other companies? Highlighting an ongoing squeeze in company budgets at
the end of 2025, input price inflation accelerated during
December to a seven-month high and remained well above
its historical trend level. Service providers continued to
report that costs were being driven higher by tariffs, and a
general increase in supplier charges. Labor related expenses
were also reported to be a source of cost inflation.
Higher input prices fed through to an increase in selling
charges over the month. Overall, the rate of inflation picked up to its highest level since August as firms sought to offset
the impact on margins of higher operating expenses.

You can make it anon, I believe in you.
The most important thing in trading is to create a set of rules and KEEP TO THEM. Just like I sold at 50 just now because I had a rule on this trade. Even if I made a funny SOXL chad meme, that's besides making and keeping real wealth. I'm not going to hold this position forever just because I think SOXL is cool (it is). I had a rule on this trade and I kept to it.
Keep a set of rules to yourself, like only buying when RSI is under a certain amount across a certain number of timeframes. Or like not buying certain sectors because you don't understand them, or not buying stocks under a certain market cap.
Keep these rules close and follow them as you would a religious text. You WILL make better money if you do this.

Sure, but everyone has known that.
Now these two companies can focus on making the memory without having to support a retail sector, so while the risk of having only 1 customer is large, the pull back from making all kinds of things to just one thing will streamline production, thus more product with a ready made buyer.

Ask yourself this question. Why are people always saying things like:
"The Chinese EVs are coming for Tesla!"
"Figure is going to beat Tesla!"
"Nvidia will beat Robotaxi!"
It's simple. They're in the lead. Not just in one field, but several emerging fields.
Tesla may not deliver promises on time. It might not even be well run as a business. But it has technological foresight that places it as a front runner and innovator in areas everyone is just now getting hyped about. They start the race, and others join.
Tesla is essentially seen as a perpetual pre-revenue company, where P/E does not matter. With a single stock, you are buying an early bet in multiple fields like AI, robotics, advanced energy, data centers, and autonomy. All vertically integrated, because Tesla designs and builds their own things.
I am not endorsing Tesla stock to you. Tesla may lose at all of these things. But it is an omni-gamble. It is the biggest craps table in the casino.

I don't understand this. There are only two reasons for dividend focus. One, you are retiring soon and want to limit sequence of returns risk. Two, you have both large earned income and savings for several years already and you are fully invested, using margin to pay your bills and the dividends are to pay the interest on your growth.

Americans outright do not buy EV (Ford -50%yoy EV sales while other sales are up 2%). If Robotaxis just get "added" to the traffic, good fuckin luck with it. There's a reason why there is public transport in cities like busses and trains.

TSLA has been down for 10 of the last 11 days. (It's never been down 9 days in a row before) It's not because of the NVidia driving system.
If you zoom out, you'll see a similar pattern of irrational exuberance in trading around this time every year with a peak followed by a long drop off. Part of last month's peak was not TSLA news, which was all bad (Two executives leaving, 30% drop in European sales for the quarter, etc.), but Rivian going bananas and bringing TSLA along with it.
I am retarded and this is not market advice, but a lot of trading is just trader sentiment, not real value adjustment.
Personally, I think a fair market value for TSLA right now is probably between 375 and 410.
But I don't know anything.

I was not advocating Tesla or any particular business model. But these are good points and I will speak broadly to the idea of robotaxis (not just Teslas):
>There's already too much traffic. What are Robotaxis going to do but just replace regular Taxis at best?
Imagine a fleet of taxis that are all connected and know each other's destinations, and can therefore collectively decide the best route each could take to avoid congestion. This is one of those famous classical math problems that autonomous taxis could potentially solve.
>Americans outright do not buy EV
First, why are we looking at Ford's numbers?
Second, the whole idea behind robotaxi is to make owning a vehicle obsolete for most people. It's basically the own/rent debate.
>There's a reason why there is public transport in cities like busses and trains.
Buses vs taxis is like broadcast TV vs streaming. Would you rather follow the broadcaster's schedule, or pull up whatever show you want, when you want it?
If robotaxis can be cost-competitive with buses, then buses will absolutely lose.

>but a lot of trading is just trader sentiment
I absolutely agree. But there's always a reason for the sentiment on an individual basis. On any given day, there are dozen, hundreds of reasons for people to sell. I just happen to think the Nvidia demo is one on a lot of people's minds.
As a long term holder, these shifts don't affect me. It's just interesting to watch and talk about it.
>>
>>61597637
>Imagine a fleet of taxis that are all connected and know each other's destinations
Oh nice, that sounds like you'll give them the idea to ban cars in cities entirely and force you to use a robotaxi. Like that they'll also know where you are heading since you can't pay cash but via card or some kind of app.

>>Americans outright do not buy EV
>First, why are we looking at Ford's numbers?
Here are TSLA's numbers or at least the chart that I edited, it declined for the first time in Q4.
>Would you rather follow the broadcaster's schedule, or pull up whatever show you want, when you want it?
Obviously everybody would prefer a Taxi to a bus at the same cost. But then you have the traffic issue like in point 1. I don't think coordination by a "supercomputer" can fix the issue of streets being full.

>ban cars in cities entirely and force you to use a robotaxi
you know they'll never ever get this to work due to purely socioeconomic reasons right?

Blacks will save the individual carmarket?

TSLA Self Driving Robo Cars aren't just for taxis, that's just proof of concept.
Imagine being able to drive yourself to work, jump out of your car, have it drive itself home, then come back and pick up you when you need it. Traffic may stay the same, but now parking is amazing.

In EU they are already banning most private owned cars in big city centers, with only taxis and public transportation being allowed

>that sounds like you'll give them the idea to ban cars in cities
The wonderful thing about the free market is that you do not need to compel people by force. If a robotaxi network is more efficient and cost effective for more people, then that's what they'll use. If that occurs, we would reduce congestion because there would be fewer cars necessary to transport everyone. You need to think about this in terms of capacity. The car you own is only used for a couple hours out of the day. A robotaxi can be in operation for 8-12, maybe more.
Heck, not only would robotaxis reduce congestion, exhaust, and material use, they might shrink the size of parking lots.

I don't think they can go as far as to ban cars completely. Not in the US, but that's part of the idea.

>have it drive itself home
>Distance
>energy
>A mass of empty robotaxis in the traffic

Idea doesn't sound bad, has some issues maybe

I don't tesla would be allowed to decimate and then monopolize the market even without our friends the negros

You know that massive percentages of New Yorkers have never driven a car and don't have a driver's license, right?
>>

Doesn't home charging have a pad that they drive up onto like the magsafe type of thing, or was that my imagination?
>>
>>61597727
they don't have robotaxis do they? which historically disadvantaged economic class causes problems on the subway? It would be magnified in a robotaxi without armed guard supervision

Why?
>>61597744
They have regular taxis that only have crime problems because the taxi drivers carry large amounts of cash.
>>
>>61597737
Yeah some cars have induction charging, not sure if it's just a proof of concept or already a thing though

i don't believe you but i'm not committed to the racism schtick enough to keep arguing. I don't think they'll let tsla decimate and monopolize the US car market either way. The automakers want more cars on the road, not less

I'm pretty happy with this years results.
But the bubble will pop eventually.
Trying to buy less individual stocks and consolidate around ETF's. Aiming for a 50/50 split.
And going to start focusing more on Dividend Growth in the Brokerage and Dividend Income in the Roth IRA and 401k.

Sold all my VOO, VUG, and VTI to buy up ASTS, RKLB, and LUNR. Space goes brrrrr. Planning to go heavy into SpaceX whenever it IPO's.

Originally sold ASTS at $45 earlier in the year... Only for me to buy it back at it's all time high of $100 last month... Been DCA'ing down since.
