I've come to the realisation that the market can never crash again. For there to be a crash, there needs to be fear but people no longer view crashes with fear but with greed. If the market ever goes down everybody will buy the dip instantly. Look at the covid "crash", by all metrics that should have been a generational crash but it went back to ATH in a matter of days. Too many slurpers, everybody remembers how much money people made off the 2008 crash and won't let an opportunity like that slip again. People are too educated in today's world, and for a proper market crash you need uneducated scared people. The days of crashes are over.

They aren't independent. And realistically wont be, they need the gibsmedats from Denmark to keep their society running at all. But Denmark allows them to vote for it as long as it's on Greenlands own condition. If you listen to what representatives from Greenland actually says the support for becoming American is less than Arizona becoming Mexican.

But why do they care. As far as I can tell denmark never exploited the resources of greenland like a real empire, didn't build infrastructure or anything, didn't use the area as a settler colony to expand their progeny, didn't put their troops on it to have a claim to the arctic. Denmark seems to want it.... just to have? There doesn't seem to be any European plan to actually use it for anything but they get so assblasted at America trying to prevent them from literally allowing the Chinese to set up military bases there (something they were doing back in 2018). It's really weird.

For sure, once Greenland is US soil all the companies around the states will fly over and build brand stores and businesses for the population of a scarce 60k. Trump will also make sure that only Greenlanders can work his new investments and totally not just have Americans work there as they exploit the native population's resources.
I know MAGA are pretty much sycophants these days but if you think anyone else believes in Trump's sweet lies then you are mistaken.

tech is heavy consensus, it's not going to outperform every year, but it will usually be in the top 3 performers, be up nearly every year, whereas other sectors won't repeat or will have big down years. it's not always the best thing to buy, but it's almost always a good thing to buy, and the longer your timeframe the more likely it is to be the best choice. it's also where a lot of the best companies are. i think it's a great time to be buying tech. industrials or utilities or healthcare might have a better year, but better decade? better half-century? 2026 is going to be another good year for tech babe. love you, thinking about you. gonna take a nap.
