Dont know about America but since that massive slam down at the end of december dealers in europe stopped lowering their premiums down with the dump and kept them ridiculously high as they knew the spot would head straight back up.

Despite the unparalleled semitism earlier today, Silver just says fuck off heeb. Able to shrug off the paper slams so easily now unlike a year or two ago.

Are you sure?
On a string it adds no weight at all (maybe my kitchen weight isn't accurate enough to pick it up).
Sunk to the bottom it weighs the same (24g).

You need to submerge the coin but prevent it from sinking to the bottom; the scale should record a small weight increase. There's this good article on Numista (though I don't recommend using the clip since it might scratch the coin):

Acheter or argent, probably the cheapest for silver prices in europe went from €4-€5 over spot in early december to €22-€23 now

I always thought it was real when I went in there. Either way they are making money hand over fist and I'm sure they could afford to display a bar that big if they wanted to.

I'm hoping y'all know how to open Notepad and add the comma delimited text. You should then be able to add or open that with a spreadsheet.

If you want to fill in the country names for all records (I'd recommend it - especially if you're going to make a proper database of it), a useful formula would be to make a new column before the current country column and enter this into A2:
=if(b2="",B1,b2)
and fill the A column, then copy/paste special as text right over it, then nuke the old Country column.

The formulae for weights etc. just have an apostrophe that you need to nuke to activate them. Then copy those down the whole sheet.

Put whatever your currency value is for one ozt of silver in I1, and H1 will give you values.

Dinner time. Bye!

Someone mentioned that a villa was 200k denarii, or 28,500 oz in ancient Rome in the last thread. A giant mansion in the middle of a city with a huge plot of land costs between 250,000 and 1,250,000 denarii about 2000 years ago.

This is a bit bigger, similarly in a city, but costs $186 million: https://www.sothebysrealty.com/eng/sales/detail/180-l-691-3egw9m/belgrave-square-belgravia-london-en-sw1x but doesn't come with the garden, land, and atrium areas.

This would imply a cost of $6200/oz, but really it'd be closer to $10,000/oz because of the sheer area the old places had and because this is the internet and I'm allowed to say so.

edit: 10 ton (or larger) shop press

For Traditional "Hammered" Coining
Historically, "hammered coins" were made manually using simple tools: a lower die set in an anvil, an upper die, and a hammer. This method uses impact force rather than sustained pressure, and the effective tonnage is generated by the weight and speed of the hammer blow.
Manual Method: Experimental archaeology suggests that a strong arm wielding a 2-pound hammer could exert a force equivalent to about 7 tons with a single blow.
Drop Hammer/Screw Press: Larger, early mechanized screw presses, some operated by hand in the 1500s, could achieve around 40 tons of force.
The main challenge in producing high-quality hammered coins (or pressed coins in general) is not just the force itself, but also the quality and durability of the dies, as the high pressure can cause dies to crack or explode if not made correctly.

You must be new here. I've often seen them do after hours smashes. In fact, that's when they get the most leverage for their short dollars. They are stoploss hunting right now, then they buy back the silver on the upside, making some money and closing more of their shorts. They did it on Monday as well. They know silver is going to moon and they are desperate to clear their shorts before that happens. $200 silver in Feb. Cap this.

Yeah but this system is now so unstable it wont be long after until an even bigger crash, dont be surprised to see gold go from $5k to potentially 4 or even 3k, silver from $110 back to 80 or even $50

I think this is the start of the big one, after this metals will go stratospheric but we could have some volatility we have never seen before and will shake out a lot of loose hands.

I'm not informed of this shit, but aren't even PM's that are alloyed really soft?
Because I ding with a hammer 8 hours a day on mild steel nails and they don't deform my hammer, pound on wood, knock on thousands of things. Yeah it's more fine detail or whatever but it should just be about the hardness + malleability of your dies VS PM's, and some steel die will be WAY harder and also not bend like a soft alloyed PM.

I'm willing to bet too that you'd be getting 100's of coins out of 1 die set minimum before any degradation in quality, so saving 50 cents or so a coin going with just whatever is cheapest would make up for some 50 or 100% die lifetime probably.

If you ain't trolling than yes. Stacking ain't for you if a little dip shakes you. Most in this thread can probably remember the nigger dip that came after the Christmas miracle. People should be able to remember early december. People should be able to remember the october shitfest. And all the while, it just recovered higher and higher and higher... that is, in nominal terms because the Jew.S. Rothschild dollar is in actuality, going down. Gold and Silver are money, that actual money denominated in jewish debt should not be shaking you. At least if you hold physical. Gold and Silver are already the sexiest women in the room. If you can't have faith in them, unironically, then it would be better for you to neck and stop being a debbie downer and a silly billy. I care not about short term pullbacks. This is just the post-100 absurd volatility we're seeing that I and everyone else said would happen, 100 really was the breaking point and we don't know how long it could go on.
It's basically profit-takers, swing traders, volatility traders, shorters, and squeezers all piling in and fighting it out, but demand has not and will not let up at all over time and as everyone else is liquidated or loses influence banks, industry, and retail (including china, who will literally never stop) win in the end.
I do expect a massive popcorn up as the post-100 resistance is killed off, by massive I mean 50 or more in an extremely short period of time. I don't think you can measure the amount of pops and dumps to get some kind of idea of anything, though, because plenty of people are falling for the FOMO and selling from the flood of news articles and lack of information of fundamentals.

>Extreme profit taking shakeout.
No. I completely disagree with your thesis, and here's the proof.

If YOU wanted to take maximum profit, would you wait until after hours, lowest volume trading, to dump HUGE volumes during the thinnest, least liquid period of the day to dump huge volumes during a relatively short time period?

Not a fucking chance. You would sprinkle your sales over the course of the COMEX or LBMA hours.

I guarantee this is bullion bank stoploss hunting and short clearing. 100% not organic, but predatory market manipulation.

If you or I did this blatant market manipulation, we would be facing RICO charges. It's perfectly legal when jews do it though.

If you understand how copper can be used to generate electricity, it's the same principal with silver.

The futures markets have two legitimate uses. 1. Producers selling forward their future production to get financing today.

2. Large dealers and manufacturers hedging substantial metal purchases against price volatility.

If you would like either of those two statements clarified via example, let me know.
