Why are international stocks outperforming US for a second year now? Feels like altseason

they are using debt over equity for financing which tells you all you need to know about the health of the company. But most smggers dont understand this.

That is just how it goes. The US sprints ahead then the rest of the world starts to catch up while its taking a break before it sprints off again.

you can't be sure it will pay out though
that premise doesn't guarantee that equity is worth more than their current capex or debt being taken

Is this a real girl or is she AI?
>>
>be memory & semis
>still mooning every month
>plebs still waiting to enter
just go long AI there's no bubble for the infra just losers on the execution end. $600b+ CapEx is going to flow into revenues this year
Sandisk, Micron, Western Digital, Seagate, SK Hynix, Samsung are no brainers

>>61835641
nvidia isn't buying openai's services, it's a cash rebate (discount on GPUs) + equity, not revenue for openai, so you are missing a much bigger arrow from OAI to NVDA in this image. that's why NVDA is #1, most of the infra capex is funneling to them one way or another

>>61835689
MU is goated just hold, their HBM4 & 4e is for the mid-cycle Rubin

>>61835842

>>
can we all team up and join the same trade on a ticker like the good old days it would really build up the camaraderie
>>
>tfw bouggted OMG at 1.3
>>
>>61836004
yes I was just listing HBM/storage which is gonna moon most this year but TSM is goated (though management is too careful with capex), ASML imo still undervalued, NVDA will remain dominant etc., many good picks
>>
>>61835999
>MU is goated just hold, their HBM4 & 4e is for the mid-cycle Rubin
I read that the reason Nvidia passed on Micron for now is because Micron's HBM4 failed the 11 Gbps tests, not sure if true or if the author was just speculating/bullshitting.
>>
>>61836066
Nvidia is married to TSMC
>>
>>61836066
Yes but it's more complicated than that

Nvidia had allocated the HBM4 volume it needs in December, with the split then-estimated at mid-to-high 50% for SK Hynix, mid-20% for Samsung Electronics, and around 20% for Micron

More recently SemiAnalysis reported it would adjust Micron's share in NVIDIA's HBM4 to 0% in 2026 due to delays in meeting HBM4 speed standards

This is actually true, but MU had already made clear that their HBM4 schedule would be delayed due to speed upgrade issues, so 2026 share of HBM4 to NVDA will probably be around 1% (factoring in redesign and sample schedule delays)

But again this is expected, they are and always have been a mid-cycle player (year 2-3) in every HBM cycle, and they always prioritize scale and service a need that is in high demand despite late entry. Even with that, their guided revenues won't be impacted this year bc most of the upside in the 2026 memory market will be driven by commodity DRAM and NAND ASP increases which they are poised to benefit from (in Q4/25 commodity DRAM operating exceeded HBM operating margins too)

Full-scale supply should be possible from 2027 onward and this is good news bc it means MU's still a buying opportunity
>>

The outperformance of the international indexes is mainly due to the Dollar losing so much value compared to the Euro, not because of any international industries that are doing particularly well. The Dollar is down almost 15% compared to the euro, the S&P500 is a great index, but it can't outperform international indexes to make up for a 15% drop in value.

Perhaps I was premature, it might just be a V

Were V's a thing before 2025? I'd never heard of a V shaped recovery before then, things usually took time.

I'm amazed they haven't patched the V it is the predictable meta yet we all act surprised each time.

Are we retarded? Am I retarded?

They can say literally anything with the word "AI" mixed in it and it'll send their price back up, that's how AI-crazed the market is.
If they go the high road and refuse AI, they'd get bought by some AIslop-omnicorp, which would send their price back up.
Granted, I'm shitfaced right now, but I swear either of these scenario is gonna happen.

We have just formed the left shoulder of the next head and shoulders as I predicted with my incredible TA.

We still have the blowoff top head so we'll fly past 7,000 briefly before coming back down to here, another jump to trap bulls then falls off a cliff until NVDA earnings save the market, then MU earnings a week later reignite Memory bullishness.

so glad that wasn't you, saying that awful thing. anyways good morning once again, not sure of my aim today. don't be shy babe.

gotta disagree with voo being vulnerable, yes it's tech heavy, top heavy, but if a big drawdown started in ai, they would likely pump another sector or two as it happened, remember in the '22 bear market how they pumped oil and commodities while dumping tech, index investors were much more insulated. an ai drawdown would likely be less severe than that anyways, and i don't think we're even going to get one. imo index products are appropriately exposed to ai, enough exposure to get upside, enough diversification and hedging to prevent major losses.

I wish i could have short Samsung but NO those chaboels dont trade outside of korea, even if you did its AGAINST THE LAW to borrow shares on this company. Those gooks are the reason we're in this mess to begin with. Even without the AI trade we would have seen HBM prices spike around this time regardless because of how fucking shitty they've been at making anything, not because of technical but cultural! There is overwhelming public evidence that Samsung Foundry has repeatedly and materially mis-represented their process nodes. In other words, PDKs are consistently wrong and this severely harms parametric yield. Jensen has been yelling at them since 2023 for better samples because they keep failing nvidia's QC.
