Reddit is better than this website by miles

The upvote system lets you see the best content first and filters out the rest.

Plus Reddit lets you sort comments by popularity, that way I'm always guaranteed to see nothing but the best content, as chosen by the community.

Here's it's just "first come first serve" like some disgusting rural cafeteria. I want my web content catered and curated, thank you very much.

4chan is just an endless stream of shit by comparison.

You probably all come here because you're failed Redditors who couldn't get any upvotes with their r*cist trash content.

As we speak I have 3 different Reddit threads on the front page of their respective boards, bringing me many thousands of upvotes each hour.

Feels good to be a successful Redditor and not an outcast like you bunch of chuds.

retards never learn not to play earnings
the only way to play earnings is to start slurping after the earnings deep and then sell during the earnings anticipatory run up. Sell deep ITM calls to harvest that sweet theta and front run the drop if you really like the company as a long term hold. Earnings are not a reliable bullish event no matter how good they are, institutions are faster on the draw at taking profit than you ever will be.

options inherently lose value over time and they act as leverage on the price action. If the underlying isn't actively increasing in price the options are losing money.
They are just a lot more risky than shares

They are but if the price of a stock is $59.88 and you buy a call at $61 and sell when the stock goes to $61.48 you will make 8x what you would make just owning the stock outright but if it falls to $57 you can only lose what you put into it

Options make sense sometimes. Especially buying puts down 80% in value at the open surge today and flipping

Never hold any option overnight under 30 dte and you will be fine

Donald Trump is a madman, he'll do anything to keep the market pumping unlike Biden who allowed that disaster of 2022.

Being ITM means the option has intrinsic/inherent value which is how far ITM your strike is from the current stock price, or the stock price - strike price. Theta decay can only affect the premium on top of that figure. So if the option was to expire this Friday instead, the option right now would be worth XOM's current price - your strike price

I'm doing some napkin math on the options I hold (all 4+ months until expiry) and basically on one option the contracts I bought for 16k represent leverage I would get buying 310k worth of underlying stock. Another option contracts I bought for 18k represent shares worth 230k. Are these the usual leverage ratios with options? That's quite high leverage. Am I now destined to get intoxicated, inevitably risk way more than I should and eventually blow myself out?

Buddy this has been going on forever. Nothing related to Epstein has even been shown to be pedo except a few girls who willingly did this and those that did lied about their age and called themselves victims 20 years later.

it's only implications are that Epstein was Mossad and he was trapping businessmen and celebrities with easy pick a girl from a catologue sex workers from 1992-2013

As advice for options, dont hold a set of contracts after a dip for long. Theta will basically ensure that unless its a tech company, you will rarely have enough gain in the underlying to offset the decay.

In my experience shorting is all about timing and the short term is imperative.

NVDA earnings are just 2 weeks away, the market may dip to 6,800 on the S&P in that time and pink wojaks splatter this board like a Jackson Pollock. But after the N word drops earnings and guidance then the rally is back on, then comes the Trump kids accounts liquidity injection to the market, then the OBBB tax cuts next thing you know we are at 8,000 before your jaw has hit the flaw.

1. MU will always increase by 60% in a month, minimum.

3. Always set a 20% trailing stop loss. This is the keystone to the strategy

Ever since Democrats sold their soul to Marxist ideology, somewhat during, but especially dialing it all up after the Obama presidency, there is no bullish political regime in the U.S. Republicans have been market crashing retards ever since George Bush Sr. Democrats were market pumpers. Seriously I'm getting worried about my currently deep in the money bull call spread with upper leg ending at 420. It might actually fall down to the 400s, shit like this isn't sustainable. It seems like a bubble. There's no way Sandisk can sustain the expectations.

That's why you buy in small increments, averaging in as you go. Buy a little. Wait until it goes up and you feel insulated from disaster. Then buy a little more. Wash rinse repeat. That's what I've been doing with MU since last November, until it comprises almost half the value of my portfolio, and my gains are still slightly in excess of 50%. If I can hang onto most of that I'll have had a good year.

Its hard to tell because its due to volitivity.
If the underlying can or has, for instance SDNK do 10% a day, then yeah, hold and see if it recovers. I do PMs, so gold will never have a +20% day so if it drops around 7%, hold until the theta decay accelerates and see if you can try to brake even, but that set up will never profit.
